Used 2025 Kia Sorento for Sale nearLondon, ON

How much does the 2025 Kia Sorento cost?

Prices have softened 14.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 205 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Kia Sorento earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Cost effectiveness.

It is a right-sized SUV for you if you want family flexibility without moving up to a larger footprint, and it stands out for its powerful engine, impressive technology, and great warranty. The trade-offs are clear: the interior materials feel cheap, the third row is cramped, and cargo space is limited.

The market also looks reasonably supportive, with 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sorento is presented as a practical, easy-to-live-with SUV with a great warranty, which helps support confidence for used buyers. Its standard all-wheel drive setup and broad powertrain range also point to a well-developed package.

The turbocharged engine and available technology suggest a modern, well-equipped design, while the model’s strong ownership satisfaction can be reassuring if you plan to keep it for the long haul. For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright dependability and more about choosing a trim that matches your needs without overpaying for features you may not use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Sorento?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The gas-only lineup includes LX, EX, X-Line, X-Line Limited, and X-Pro. The LX uses the less powerful 2.5-litre engine, while the higher trims get the turbocharged version. The X-Line and X-Pro add black badges, and the X-Pro brings a more rugged appearance, a panoramic sunroof, and a more upscale cabin presentation.
• Powertrain: The LX has a 191-horsepower 2.5-litre four-cylinder with an eight-speed automatic, while the other trims use a turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. The turbo engine is the stronger choice, but it uses an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic that may feel unfamiliar if you are not used to a DCT.
• Safety package: Kia includes plenty of standard safety features, and Highway Driving Assist is standard on X-Line. X-Line Limited and X-Pro add Highway Driving Assist 2, which brings lane-changing functionality, plus more active collision avoidance features, a camera-based Blind-Spot View Monitor, and the surround-view camera system.
• Infotainment: Every 2025 Sorento has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The standard setup uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, while X-Line Limited and X-Pro add a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Kia Connect is available with voice recognition, 911 Connect, remote access, and safe driver settings.
• Fuel efficiency: The LX is estimated at 9.4 L/100 km in combined driving. The turbocharged engine is rated at 10.3 L/100 km combined, and the X-Pro averaged 10.0 L/100 km during evaluation.

Which 2025 Kia Sorento trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Sorento is offered in 5 trim levels: LX, EX, X-Line, X-Line Limited, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the budget-minded choice if you want the Sorento’s size and flexibility at the lowest entry point. It uses the less powerful engine, so it makes the most sense if price matters more than performance.
• EX: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it moves you into the stronger turbocharged engine without jumping all the way to the more expensive appearance and tech-focused trims.
• X-Line: Choose this if you want the turbo engine plus a more rugged look and standard Highway Driving Assist.
• X-Line Limited: This is the better pick if you want the more upscale digital display setup and the added safety and convenience features.
• X-Pro: This is the most distinctive trim, with the most rugged styling, all-terrain tires, enhanced towing capacity, and the most complete feature set.

The X-Line Limited and X-Pro are the trims to target if you want the most advanced safety package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Sorento?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you should be able to shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 205 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.75% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,503 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $41,611 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,812 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy at the right number now, you may have less downside exposure later than someone who paid closer to last year’s average. The Sorento’s broad appeal as a family SUV should help support demand, especially for well-equipped trims.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento safe?

The 2025 Sorento earns five-star overall and individual four-star ratings for its frontal impact and rollover resistance evaluations from NHTSA. It also earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS, though that accolade is valid only for the 2024 calendar year.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia installs plenty of standard safety features in the 2025 Sorento, and higher trims add more advanced technology. Highway Driving Assist is standard on X-Line, while X-Line Limited and X-Pro add Highway Driving Assist 2 with lane-changing functionality. Those trims also gain numerous active collision avoidance features, a camera-based Blind-Spot View Monitor, and the surround-view camera system.

A key caveat is that the IIHS badge may not carry forward for 2025, so you should pay close attention to the exact trim and equipment level you are considering.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the same right-sized family-SUV formula while adding a new grey paint colour and some black-badge treatments.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,630 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $41,611 CAD average.
• It brings a value-packed, family-friendly setup with a standard third row and major infotainment and safety updates.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year Sorento and are shopping for the best mix of features, value, and market choice, the 2025 is the cleaner pick. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 remains the smarter budget alternative.
