Used 2025 Kia Sorento for Sale nearPrince George, BC

How much does the 2025 Kia Sorento cost?

Prices have softened 13.08% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 218 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Kia Sorento earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Cost effectiveness.

The Sorento is positioned as a “right-sized” SUV for you if you want an occasional-use third row without moving up to a larger three-row midsize model. It is larger than a typical compact SUV but smaller than many three-row midsize SUVs, which gives it a useful middle ground in size. The turbo-gas version is described as largely unchanged after a substantial refresh for 2024, with a new grey paint colour and some models getting standard black exterior badges in 2025.

The trade-offs are clear: the interior materials feel cheap, the third row is cramped, and cargo space is limited. Even so, the combination of versatility, features, and a strong warranty makes it appealing if you can live with those compromises.

37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sorento is described as easy to live with on a daily basis, and its packaging is aimed at buyers who want a practical family SUV with an occasional third row. The turbocharged engine and all-wheel-drive system are presented as strong points, and the model’s overall setup is meant to balance usefulness with comfort.

The turbo engine is described as far more satisfying than the base engine, and the vehicle’s daily-driving manners are praised for city, highway, and suburban use. Kia also includes a three-year Kia Connect subscription plan, which adds convenience features for ownership.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the cabin and cargo compromises may matter more over time if your needs grow beyond occasional third-row use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Sorento?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The gas-only lineup includes LX, EX, X-Line, X-Line Limited, and X-Pro trim levels. The LX uses the less powerful 2.5-litre four-cylinder, while the other trims get the turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder. The X-Line and X-Pro also add black badges, and the X-Pro brings a more rugged look with exclusive bumper covers, roof rails, and matte-black wheels.
• Powertrain: The LX has a 191-horsepower 2.5-litre four-cylinder with an eight-speed automatic transmission and an estimated 9.4 L/100 km in combined driving. The turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder makes 281 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, and the official fuel economy rating is 10.3 L/100 km in combined driving.
• Safety package: Highway Driving Assist is standard on X-Line, and X-Line Limited and X-Pro add Highway Driving Assist 2 with lane-changing functionality. X-Line Limited and X-Pro also add numerous active collision avoidance features, a camera-based Blind-Spot View Monitor, and the surround-view camera system.
• Infotainment: The Sorento uses a 24-inch panoramic display, and X-Line Limited and X-Pro pair a larger 12.3-inch digital instrument panel with the standard 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Every 2025 Sorento has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Kia Connect is complimentary for three years.
• Fuel efficiency: The LX is estimated at 9.4 L/100 km in combined driving, while the turbocharged engine is rated at 10.3 L/100 km combined. During testing, the X-Pro averaged 10.0 L/100 km.

Which 2025 Kia Sorento trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Sorento is offered in 5 trim levels: LX, EX, X-Line, X-Line Limited, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the value-focused choice if you want the Sorento’s size and occasional third row at the lowest entry point, but you give up the stronger turbocharged engine found in the higher trims.
• EX: This is the sensible step up if you want more of the Sorento’s core appeal without jumping straight to the more expensive X-Line models.
• X-Line: This is the best-value trim if you want the stronger turbocharged engine plus standard Highway Driving Assist and a more distinctive look.
• X-Line Limited: This is the right pick if you want the more upscale tech presentation, including the larger digital instrument panel, along with the added safety and convenience upgrades.
• X-Pro: This is the most rugged-looking version, with all-terrain tires, unique wheels, enhanced roof rails, and the most feature-rich safety package; it suits you best if you want the top-spec feel and can accept that the added capability is more about traction and appearance than serious off-road hardware.

The X-Line Limited and X-Pro trims add the most advanced safety and driver-assistance content.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Sorento?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 218 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.08% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,397 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $41,397 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,625 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make resale a little tougher for you if you sell soon. On the other hand, a softer used market can also help keep the Sorento competitive against newer alternatives, especially if your vehicle is well equipped and in strong condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia Sorento safe?

The 2025 Sorento earns five-star overall and four-star ratings in frontal impact and rollover resistance evaluations from NHTSA, and it earns a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS, though that accolade is valid only for the 2024 calendar year.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Kia installs plenty of standard safety features in the 2025 Sorento, and higher trims add more sophisticated technology. Highway Driving Assist is a semi-autonomous, hands-on driver-assistance feature that pairs adaptive cruise control with lane-centring assist, and X-Line Limited and X-Pro add lane-changing functionality to create Highway Driving Assist 2. Those trims also add numerous active collision avoidance features, a camera-based Blind-Spot View Monitor, and the surround-view camera system.

A key caveat is that the Sorento may lose its IIHS Top Safety Pick rating in 2025 because of rule changes and a new test result.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.08% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 keeps the same right-sized packaging and adds a new grey paint colour, with some models getting standard black exterior badges.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,615 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $41,397 CAD average.
• It offers a value-focused family SUV layout with a standard third row and major infotainment and safety updates.

The bottom line: If you want the latest used-year pricing context and the same core package, the 2025 is the cleaner choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better value path.
