Is the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer a good car?

The 2025 Chevrolet Blazer stands out because it is a midsize, five-passenger SUV with a unibody construction and sporty styling rather than the rugged off-road character associated with the classic Blazer name. It also has a well-packaged cabin and comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto throughout its lineup and model years, which helps it feel modern and easy to live with. For shoppers who want a stylish used SUV with a more car-like personality, that combination is a big part of its appeal.

Equipment is a strong point, especially on the better-equipped trims. Standard features include dual-zone climate controls, 18-inch wheels, heated front seats, OnStar, a Wi-Fi hotspot, up to six USB ports, a rear camera, Chevy Safety Assist, and push-button start. Higher trims can add heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, leather-appointed seating with red accents, heated rear seats, a panoramic moonroof, wireless charging, a power liftgate, blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and lane keep assist. The 2025 Blazer also benefits from the mid-cycle refresh that brought a new grille, headlights, taillamps, wheel designs, and a larger standard 10.25-inch infotainment screen.

There are some trade-offs to keep in mind. The Blazer’s seats are described as uncomfortable, visibility is poor, and value for money is not one of its strengths. Still, for buyers who prioritise style, a broad feature list, and a straightforward modern SUV layout, the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer remains a distinctive choice.

30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Blazer?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient and focused.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 99 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.47% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,395 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer's resale value?

The current average of $43,771 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,798 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has moved in buyers' favour, which can make the Blazer easier to shop now than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that also means you should expect resale values to reflect the current cooling trend rather than a strong premium. If you buy well today, you may be better positioned to limit depreciation later.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Blazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.47% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this SUV with a modern cabin and a decent amount of deal activity, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth a look, especially if you can find similar equipment for less.
