How much does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade cost?

Prices have softened 16.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 383 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and a 9/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It fits families looking beyond a minivan, and it remains especially appealing as Hyundai’s largest SUV with a three-row layout. The 2025 model also benefits from years of steady refinement in styling, technology, and packaging, even though it is the outgoing generation.

The market shows 33.2% of listings as good or great deals, which is a healthy sign for shoppers who are comparing value.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Palisade has aged well, and its overall package still feels well sorted for a family SUV. Its powertrain is described as smooth and refined, and the transmission delivers silky shifts. The standard warranty coverage also adds peace of mind for used buyers.

The five-year/100,000-kilometre standard and powertrain warranty with roadside assistance is a useful ownership perk, especially if you want extra protection on a used purchase.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that you are shopping an outgoing generation, so condition and maintenance history matter more than chasing the newest shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred trim already has a clean, modern, and uplevel look and feel, while higher trims add premium leather, metal speaker grilles, and other luxury cues. The Urban trim adds front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Blind Spot View Monitor, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds more advanced parking and lane-change features.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. It is smooth and refined, but not especially fuel-efficient.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, Highway Driving Assist, and an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system. Higher trims add more parking and blind-spot camera features.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable, and wireless versions are not included. The system also includes two-device Bluetooth support, wireless smartphone charging, SiriusXM satellite radio, navigation, voice recognition, and Bluelink+ connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada lists combined fuel consumption at 11.1 litres per 100 kilometres. In testing, it recorded 13.9 L/100 km in city driving and 11.9 L/100 km by the end of the evaluation.

Which 2025 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, Urban, Ultimate Calligraphy, and Ultimate Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the value play if you want the Palisade’s upscale design, roomy family-friendly layout, and standard V6 power without paying for extra luxury or parking tech.
• Urban: This is the best-value upgrade if you want the most useful everyday add-ons, including front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Blind Spot View Monitor.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: Choose this if you want the most luxury and the most advanced convenience features, including evasive steering assist, lane-change assist functions, automatic braking when parking, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
• Ultimate Calligraphy Night Edition: Pick this if you want the top-end look and equipment with a darker appearance theme.

The Urban trim is the best-value choice for most used buyers, while Ultimate Calligraphy is the most feature-rich option.

The safety package starts with a strong standard set, and the Urban trim is the starting point for the camera-based Blind Spot View Monitor.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough deal activity to make comparison worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 383 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.49% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,599 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $48,599 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,193 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, trim, and how well the vehicle is equipped.

Because the Palisade still has strong appeal as a family-focused three-row SUV, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than less distinctive rivals. The outgoing-model status may limit upside, but it also makes clean, well-priced listings more attractive to shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade earned a Top Safety Pick from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety through 2024, but a Poor result in the updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test prevented that accolade in 2025. It earns five-star frontal impact and four-star rollover resistance ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, Highway Driving Assist, and an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system.

The main caveat is the updated IIHS frontal-impact result, which is worth keeping in mind if crash-test performance is a top priority for you.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 remains a refined outgoing model with strong value and a well-rounded family-SUV package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $43,526 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $48,599 CAD average.
• It offers family-friendly practicality with an upscale feel and roomy accommodations.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It is redesigned and improves on the outgoing model in every meaningful way.
• It adds multiple powertrain options and a more modern overall package.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, refinement, and available inventory, the 2025 is the smart path. If price is your top priority, the 2024 is the cheaper alternative. If you want the newest design and can stretch your budget, the 2026 is the better long-term pick.
