How much does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade cost?

There are 455 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a 5/5 user-rated SUV with an expert rating of 9/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

The Palisade fits well if you want a family-friendly three-row SUV with an upscale look, thoughtful packaging, and strong everyday usability. Its value story is reinforced by its polished design, roomy cabin, and well-rounded feature set.

Good and great deals account for 34.1% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Palisade’s reliability case is helped by its steady evolution since launch, plus the fact that Hyundai has refined its styling, technology, and packaging over time. Its powertrain is described as smooth and refined, and the SUV’s overall execution suggests a well-sorted design rather than a rushed one.

You also get a five-year/100,000-kilometre standard and powertrain warranty with roadside assistance, which adds peace of mind for used buyers. For long-term ownership, the main risk is that you’re buying an outgoing generation, so condition and maintenance history matter more than usual.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred trim already has a clean, modern, uplevel look and feel, while higher trims add premium leather, metal speaker grilles, and other luxury cues. If you want the most upscale cabin, the top versions stand out, but the base trim still feels well finished.
• Powertrain: Every Palisade uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. It’s smooth, refined, and strong, but not especially fuel-efficient.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, Highway Driving Assist, and an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system. The Urban trim adds front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Blind Spot View Monitor, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist, lane-change assist functions, automatic braking when parking, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto require a cable, but the system also includes two-device Bluetooth support, wireless smartphone charging, SiriusXM, navigation, voice recognition, and Bluelink+ connected services.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says the Palisade averages 11.1 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving. In testing, it returned 13.9 L/100 km in city driving and 11.9 L/100 km by the end of the evaluation.

Which 2025 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, Urban, Ultimate Calligraphy, and Ultimate Calligraphy Night Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the entry point, but it still delivers the Palisade’s upscale design, modern cabin feel, and thoughtful family-friendly details. It makes sense if you want the core experience without paying for extra luxury or parking tech.
• Urban: This is the best-value trim if you want more convenience and safety tech, because it adds front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Blind Spot View Monitor. It’s the smart pick if you want a better-equipped Palisade without jumping to the top end.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with premium leather, metal speaker grilles, evasive steering assist, lane-change assist functions, automatic braking when parking, and Remote Smart Parking Assist. Choose it if you want the most upscale and feature-rich version.
• Ultimate Calligraphy Night Edition: This trim is listed as part of the range, but the provided data does not separate out unique equipment beyond its name.

The safety package starts with a strong standard feature list, and the Urban and Ultimate Calligraphy trims add meaningful extras.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Palisade?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 455 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.94% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,908 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade's resale value?

The current average of $47,908 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,995 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more attractive point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. For a seller, the upside is that the Palisade still has strong appeal thanks to its upscale feel, family-friendly packaging, and broad usefulness.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The Palisade earns a Top Safety Pick from IIHS through 2024, but a Poor result in the updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test kept it from repeating that result in 2025. It earns five-star frontal impact and four-star rollover resistance ratings from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai equips the Palisade with forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, intersection turning assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, Highway Driving Assist, and an ultrasonic rear occupant alert system. The Urban trim adds front parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and Blind Spot View Monitor, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist, lane-change assist functions, automatic braking when parking, and Remote Smart Parking Assist.

The main safety caveat is the Poor IIHS result in the updated moderate overlap frontal-impact test.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.94% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It’s the outgoing generation, but still well-rounded and appealing.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $42,814 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $47,908 CAD average.
• It’s a terrific family hauler with upscale materials and thoughtful amenities.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It’s a redesigned model with multiple powertrain options and a more polished overall package.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, features, and proven appeal, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If your priority is lower purchase price, the 2024 is the better budget-minded alternative.

How does the 2025 Hyundai Palisade compare to the 2025 Kia Telluride?

Our experts score the 2025 Hyundai Palisade 9/10 and the 2025 Kia Telluride 8.2/10. The Palisade comes across as the more compelling value here, with a lower average used price and a much larger pool of listings to shop from.
