Used 2025 Honda Pilot for Sale nearParry Sound, ON

How much does the 2025 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 13.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 156 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Pilot earns a 4.91/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise the roomy interior, smooth ride, and generous cargo space, and they also like the comfortable seating and strong sense of security. The Pilot’s practical layout makes it easy to live with, especially if you want a three-row SUV that handles daily family duty without drama.

The trade-offs are that the technology feels dated and the front passenger seat lacks adjustment. Honda’s simple formula still works well if you value space, usability, and a straightforward ownership experience over flashier features.

With 28.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.91/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the Pilot’s comfortable, secure feel and the confidence it inspires over time. The overall impression is that this is the kind of SUV you can count on for family use and everyday commuting.

Honda’s powertrain and all-wheel-drive setup are described as easy to live with and secure, which supports the Pilot’s reputation for dependable day-to-day use. The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that the Pilot’s technology and fuel economy may feel dated sooner than the rest of the vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Pilot?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport is affordable but light on amenities, while the leather-lined EX-L is the recommended minimum upgrade. The TrailSport adds a more rugged look and extra off-roading capability, and the Black Edition brings blacked-out exterior trim, black wheels, black badges, red interior accents, red contrast stitching, and red ambient lighting.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Pilot uses a 3.5-litre V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard i-VTM4 all-wheel drive in Canada. It makes 285 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, and it can tow up to 2,268 kilograms.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Parking sensors and a multi-view camera system were fitted to the test vehicle.
• Infotainment: The Pilot Black Edition had a 9-inch touchscreen and a 10.2-inch digital gauge panel, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, SiriusXM satellite radio, text-messaging support, navigation, HondaLink subscription services, Wi-Fi access, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy is unimpressive, with city-heavy driving returning 15.9 litres per 100 kilometres in testing and 14.1 L/100 km on the evaluation loop. NRCan estimates 11.2 L/100 km combined, with 11.0 L/100 km combined for lower trims and 11.8 for the TrailSport.

Which 2025 Honda Pilot trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Pilot is offered in 5 trim levels: Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is the least appealing choice because it misses too many amenities. If you want the Pilot to feel properly equipped, you should look higher.
• EX-L: This is the best-value trim because it adds the leather-lined feel that makes the Pilot easier to recommend without pushing you into the pricier upper models.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the Pilot’s more rugged character and added off-roading capability.
• Touring: This trim moves the Pilot further upmarket, but the available information suggests the technology still does not feel especially modern.
• Black Edition: This is the style-focused top trim, with blacked-out exterior details, black wheels, black badges, and red interior accents.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core safety suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Pilot?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 156 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.09% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,936 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $54,936 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,213 CAD.

That price decline suggests the Pilot is currently in a softer resale environment than it was a year ago. For a future seller, that means you may face more competition from similarly priced listings, especially if your vehicle is not especially well equipped or well presented.

The good news is that the Pilot’s broad appeal still helps support demand. Buyers continue to value its space, practicality, and family-friendly layout, which should help it hold attention better than a less versatile SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot safe?

The 2025 Honda Pilot earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. The test vehicle also had parking sensors and a multi-view camera system.

There are some caveats to keep in mind. The adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist did not always behave smoothly in testing, and the road sign recognition system regularly showed inaccurate information. Even so, the Pilot’s crash-test results and standard safety equipment make it a strong choice if safety is a priority.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the Pilot’s simple formula: one powertrain, standard AWD, and a roomy, practical cabin.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It brings a brawnier, more truck-like look.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value and proven family-friendly practicality, the 2025 is the smarter buy. If styling matters more than price, the 2026 is worth a look, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2025’s softer market and stronger deal availability.
