Pros & cons
What we like

What to consider
Unimpressive fuel economy
Technology looks outdated
Front passenger seat lacks adjustment
The CarGurus verdict
Roomy and relatively rugged, the 2025 Honda Pilot is a three-row midsize SUV that’s easy to live with.
Honda keeps it simple with the 2025 Pilot, offering a single powertrain and standard all-wheel drive (AWD) in Canada. Nearly all Pilots have eight-passenger seating, and with higher trims, the second-row centre section is removable to create a seven-passenger configuration. The Black Edition returns to the top of the lineup for 2025, equipped with blacked-out exterior trim and red interior accents.
Verdict: With the 2025 Pilot, Honda hasn’t messed with success. It is a roomy and practical daily driver that makes life easy, has plenty of power to effortlessly get up to speed, and is safe for transporting the people you love the most. However, it is time for Honda to offer a hybrid version.

What owners say
"Overall, drivers are really happy with the 2025 Honda Pilot. They love the smooth ride, spacious interior, and plenty of cargo space. Comfortable seating and a good sense of security from safety ratings are also big hits. However, some drivers feel the dash screen could be larger and would like more luxury features in the lower trims."
The touring model is perfect for me. It has a lot of the luxury features I wanted without the price tag for the elite.
May 28, 2026This car will be more than sufficient for our needs and we look forward to having it to use.
April 11, 2025I love my 2025 Pilot TrailSport. Drives really nicely, excellent mpg and the blue color is perfect.

December 8, 2025Heated steering wheel should be part of the Touring Trim. Car rides smooth and the interior is nice. Screen could be bigger for the price of the car.
August 12, 2025The Pilot Touring is well equips and comfortable. It has plenty of cargo space and provides a very good sense of security with excellent crash testing and solid handling. I do wish it was available with a hybrid power train.
August 27, 2025I love this car, it handles so well, I bought the trails for because I live on a gravel road, but the seats are comfortable, things are accessible, and it has plenty of room. I do think it’s a good value and Hondas typically have good resale value. It also has lots of storage.
August 19, 2025Only thing I wish it had was cooled seats. Just picked it up yesterday so still getting used to new things.
August 7, 2026all cars have gone up in price but compared to my 2017 isn't much more luxurious for a higher end Elite vehicle for the money
July 1, 2026Elite trim has it all, but I couldnt stand the shiny chrome shining all over my car, so I went with black edition. BTW, seats look gorgeous.
March 22, 2024Car is great all the features I need. Only downside is the size of the dash screen.
