Used 2025 Honda Pilot for Sale nearInnisfil, ON

How much does the 2025 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 11.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 151 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Pilot earns a 4.91/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise the smooth ride, spacious interior, plenty of cargo space, comfortable seating, and the reassuring sense of security that comes with its safety ratings. The Pilot also fits well if you want a roomy, practical family SUV that is easy to live with and built around straightforward usability.

The trade-offs are clear: the technology can feel dated, and the front passenger seat lacks adjustment. Honda’s simple formula suits buyers who value practicality over flash, especially if you want a three-row SUV with standard all-wheel drive in Canada.

Good and great deals account for 24.5% of listings, which is a decent sign that there are worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.91/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the Pilot as a vehicle they feel good about living with over time. The expert evaluation also describes it as a straightforward, easy-to-live-with SUV that is built for daily use and family duty.

Honda’s warranty coverage is average, so long-term ownership risk for used buyers is more about keeping up with routine maintenance than worrying about a complicated powertrain.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Pilot?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport is affordable but light on amenities, while the EX-L is the recommended upgrade if you want a more appealing cabin. The Black Edition adds black wheels, blacked-out exterior trim, black leather seats with red perforation accents, red contrast stitching, red ambient lighting, and embossed Black Edition details.
• Powertrain: Every Pilot uses a 3.5-litre V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard i-VTM4 AWD in Canada. It delivers 285 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, with towing capacity up to 2,268 kilograms.
• Safety package: Every version includes Honda Sensing with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trims can add parking sensors and a multi-view camera system.
• Infotainment: The Black Edition has a 9-inch touchscreen and a 10.2-inch digital gauge panel, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, SiriusXM, text-messaging support, HondaLink, Wi-Fi access, navigation, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy is unimpressive, with city-heavy driving returning 15.9 L/100 km in testing and 14.1 L/100 km on the evaluation loop. NRCan estimates 11.0 L/100 km combined for lower trims and 11.8 L/100 km for the TrailSport.

Which 2025 Honda Pilot trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Pilot is offered in 5 trim levels: Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is light on appealing amenities, so it makes sense mainly if you want the lowest-cost way into the Pilot lineup.
• EX-L: This is the best-value choice because it adds the leather-lined cabin that makes the Pilot feel more complete without pushing you too far up the price ladder.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the Pilot’s more rugged character and added off-roading capability.
• Touring: This trim suits you if you want a more upscale, better-equipped Pilot for family duty and longer trips.
• Black Edition: This is the style-focused top trim, with blacked-out exterior treatment, red interior accents, and the most distinctive look in the lineup.

Honda Sensing is standard across the range, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core safety suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 24.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 151 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.79% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,484 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $55,484 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,896 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Pilot has already absorbed a meaningful amount of depreciation, which can be helpful if you are buying now and planning to sell later. For a future seller, the softer market means you may not recover as much as an early owner paid, but it also means the vehicle is entering the used market at a more realistic price point.

The Pilot’s practical reputation and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time, especially among shoppers who want a roomy three-row SUV with standard all-wheel drive.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.91/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot safe?

The 2025 Honda Pilot earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Every version comes with Honda Sensing, which includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. The Black Edition test vehicle also had parking sensors and a multi-view camera system.

There are some caveats to keep in mind: the adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist did not always behave smoothly in testing, and the road sign recognition system regularly gave inaccurate information.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 24.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.91/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It keeps the Pilot formula simple with a single powertrain, standard AWD, and strong safety ratings.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It brings a brawnier, more truck-like look while staying fundamentally the same.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2025 is the smarter buy because prices have eased and the Pilot’s core strengths are already well established. If you are shopping mainly for the newest styling, the 2026 is the cleaner choice, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2025 and look for a well-equipped trim at the low end of the range.
