Is the 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD. The overview points to a heavy-duty truck that pairs serious work capability with a more polished feel than you might expect from a one-ton hauler, plus a broad range of cab, bed, and rear-axle configurations. Is the 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD reliable?

The overview suggests a truck built around proven heavy-duty capability, with a clear focus on work use and available comfort rather than novelty. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Inventory: There are 180 listings available.

What is the 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD's resale value?

The current average of $91,700 CAD sits slightly below last year's $107,614 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the truck more attractive to you as a buyer now, but it also means a future seller may face a softer resale environment than last year. If you buy at the right price and keep the truck in strong condition, you give yourself a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Sierra 3500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 38.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, broad inventory, and high owner satisfaction, the 2025 is the one to focus on first. If you are especially price-sensitive, you should also compare nearby model years to see whether a lower asking price outweighs the 2025’s current market advantages.
