How much does the 2025 Ford Bronco cost?

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Bronco earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It stands out by blending throwback styling with modern off-road hardware, and it is aimed squarely at serious trail use. It is also described as more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler, which makes it easier to live with if you want capability without giving up all-road manners.

The trade-offs are clear: poor fuel economy and advanced safety features that are not standard. It is best suited to you if you want an SUV with personality and genuine capability rather than just rugged styling.

29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Bronco is presented as a vehicle with genuine capability and a wide range of variants, which can help you tailor it to your needs. Its off-road-focused hardware and standard four-wheel drive point to a design built for demanding use, while the expert review also highlights that it is comfortable enough for street and highway driving.

Its performance notes suggest strong power delivery and plenty of capability for daily use and trail work. The cost-effectiveness commentary also notes that the Bronco is expensive and not very efficient, so ownership costs may be a bigger consideration than mechanical dependability.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a hard-used example may have seen more demanding off-road life than a typical SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base model looks pretty drab and is available in both two- and four-door body styles, while the Big Bend is worth the upgrade for most buyers. The Outer Banks adds LED lighting and can be equipped with a turbocharged V6 engine, the Badlands gets bigger tires and an upgraded suspension package, the Heritage ramps up the retro look, and the Stroppe and Raptor sit at the top of the range with much more capability and price.
• Powertrain: Most 2025 Bronco models use either a 2.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder or an optional turbocharged 2.7-litre EcoBoost V6. The four-cylinder makes 300 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, while the V6 increases output to 330 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque.
• Safety package: Co-Pilot360 is standard beginning with the Big Bend trim level. Feature highlights include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. The base model does not get this suite standard.
• Infotainment: You get a standard 12-inch touchscreen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer. A second 12-inch screen serves as a digital gauge cluster, and it is standard across the lineup.
• Fuel efficiency: The base form with a manual and the four-cylinder engine is rated at 12.9 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 11 on the highway, and 12.1 combined. The automatic is 0.1 L/100 km better in combined and highway fuel economy. The Bronco Raptor is rated at 15.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Bronco is offered in 7 trim levels: base, Big Bend, Outer Banks, Badlands, Heritage, Stroppe Edition, Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• base: This is the entry point, but it looks pretty drab and misses the standard Co-Pilot360 safety suite that starts on the Big Bend.
• Big Bend: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it is only a little more expensive than the base model and adds the standard safety package.
• Outer Banks: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel, LED lighting, and the option of the turbocharged V6.
• Badlands: This is the better pick if you want more off-road hardware, including bigger tires, an upgraded suspension package, and a classier interior.
• Heritage: Pick this if you want the strongest retro look, plus the Sasquatch package as standard equipment.
• Stroppe Edition: This is the high-priced, two-door-only “race-ready” model with very limited options.
• Raptor: This is the top-end choice if you want the most extreme capability, the most powerful engine, and the most dramatic off-road modifications.

The safety package starts on the Big Bend trim level, so that is the minimum trim to target if you want the Bronco’s core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Bronco?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 268 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $56,621 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $56,635 CAD sits slightly below last year's $69,260 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Bronco more attractive to used buyers today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale values to depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Because the Bronco is still a desirable nameplate with strong capability and broad appeal, well-kept examples should continue to draw interest. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2025 Ford Bronco earns top “Good” ratings from the IIHS in its small overlap front, moderate overlap front, and updated side-impact crash tests, and it earns four-star ratings for frontal crash safety and three-star ratings in rollover testing from NHTSA.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

The Bronco does not come standard with the Co-Pilot360 safety suite; it starts on the Big Bend trim level. Feature highlights include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Post-collision braking, hill start assist, and hill descent control are standard even on the base model.

The IIHS gives the headlights a “Marginal” rating, which is the main safety caveat to keep in mind.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It blends throwback styling with modern off-road hardware and is more comfortable on streets and highways than the Jeep Wrangler.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,342 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $56,635 CAD average.
• It adds a standard 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment system and keeps the Bronco’s rugged character.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the current-year mix of capability, comfort, and market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the smarter path because it delivers much of the same appeal for less.
