Used 2024 Toyota Sienna for Sale near British Columbia

How much does the 2024 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 7.59% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 212 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Toyota Sienna earns 4/5 from owners and 7.5/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

It stands out as a family-focused minivan with three rows of seating, power sliding doors, and a fuel-sipping hybrid powertrain. It is also described as comfy, with standard advanced safety features and optional all-wheel drive for added versatility.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: performance is fairly pedestrian, and the technology is a bit outdated. That makes it a stronger fit if you value efficiency and everyday practicality over driving excitement or the latest infotainment setup.

With 25.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is a meaningful share of attractive inventory to consider.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Toyota Sienna is presented as a practical, efficiency-first family vehicle, and its hybrid setup is a major part of that appeal. The expert notes also point to a generally comfortable, easy-to-live-with design that should suit daily family use well.

Its hybrid powertrain is described as the kind of setup that helps the Sienna save fuel while doing regular family-duty work. Toyota’s warranty coverage also includes hybrid-component and battery coverage, which adds reassurance for long-term ownership.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about living with its slower performance and older technology over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Sienna?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The LE, XLE, XSE, and Limited trims give you a clear spread of equipment and style, with the base LE keeping things simpler while upper trims add more upscale touches and lighting upgrades. The XSE leans sportier with a black mesh grille, black heated mirrors, and 20-inch dark wheels, while the Limited sits at the top with the most premium presentation.
• Powertrain: Every Sienna uses a 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid setup with two electric motors and a small battery pack, and AWD versions add a rear electric motor. It is efficient rather than quick, so you should expect smooth but modest acceleration.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes lane departure alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, road sign recognition, full-speed adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The lane-keeping assist can feel a bit side-to-side in use.
• Infotainment: You get a nine-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a 7-inch digital display in the gauge cluster. The system is older, and the backup camera image is grainy, so check whether that setup works for you.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-wheel-drive model is rated at 6.6 L/100 km city, 6.5 highway, and 6.6 combined, while AWD versions rise slightly to 6.8 city, 6.6 highway, and 6.7 combined.

Which 2024 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Sienna is offered in 4 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the value-focused starting point, and it gives you the core Sienna formula with hybrid efficiency, three rows, and standard safety tech. It makes the most sense if you want the Sienna’s strengths without paying for extras you may not need.
• XLE: This is the trim to consider if you want a more polished family hauler without jumping all the way to the top. It should suit you if comfort and convenience matter more than sporty styling.
• XSE: This is the best-value trim if you want the Sienna to feel a bit more distinctive. It adds the sportier look, leatherette-trimmed sport seats, and captain’s chairs in place of the second-row bench.
• Limited: Choose this if you want the most upscale version of the Sienna and are willing to pay for it. It is the top-end choice for shoppers who want the fullest feature set.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Sienna?

The market looks moderately favourable if you are a selective buyer.

• Deal availability: 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 212 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.59% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $53,306 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $55,047 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,568 CAD.

That softer pricing trend can work in your favour if you are buying now, but it also means future resale values may be shaped by a market that has already cooled. If demand stays steady, the Sienna’s efficiency and family-friendly packaging should help support used-market interest.

For a future seller, the key advantage is that the Sienna’s appeal is tied to practical strengths rather than short-lived trends. Efficient minivans with strong family utility tend to keep a broad audience, which can help resale performance over time.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2024 Toyota Sienna has been rated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) with four out of five stars for frontal crash and rollover protection and five out of five stars for side crash protection.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the board and includes lane departure alert, automatic emergency braking that can detect a pedestrian or cyclist, road sign recognition, full-speed adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.

The main caveat is that front crash prevention was rated as “Average” by IIHS, even though the Sienna earned “Good” in crashworthiness and seat belt and child restraint systems.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 25.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It pairs standard hybrid efficiency with standard safety features and optional AWD.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $50,358 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $55,047 CAD average.
• It offers standard hybrid efficiency and family-friendly practicality.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $58,853 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $55,047 CAD average.
• It adds AWD traction and easier cargo use without removing the second-row seats.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want the current-year balance of efficiency, safety, and family utility at a softened price. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want to spend more for the newer-year package, the 2025 is worth a look.
