How much does the 2024 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 15.86% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 373 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 RAM 3500 earns a 5/5 user rating, and it backs that up with serious capability plus a more upscale feel than a bare-bones work truck. You get a heavy-duty truck built around towing and payload strength, along with available tech and comfort features that make it easier to live with as a daily driver. It is especially appealing if you want a truck that prioritises utility without giving up modern convenience. With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 RAM 3500 is described as a well-equipped heavy-duty truck that carries forward an established formula rather than introducing major changes, which can be reassuring if you want a proven setup. Its strengths are centred on capability, comfort, and technology, while its size and diesel noise are part of the ownership trade-offs. For used buyers, long-term risk is mainly about whether you are prepared to live with a very large truck and the demands that come with heavy-duty use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 373 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.86% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $70,579 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $70,579 CAD sits slightly below last year's $83,888 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key question is whether the truck’s capability and equipment keep demand steady enough to offset broader depreciation. Strong utility vehicles can hold attention well when they are configured and priced correctly.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.86% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a heavy-duty truck that already has the refreshed, well-equipped formula in place, the 2024 RAM 3500 is the sensible pick. It makes the most sense for you if towing, payload, and upscale features matter more than compact size or a quieter driving experience. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 is the better fit when you want a proven setup with strong market value.
