Used 2024 RAM 3500 for Sale near British Columbia

How much does the 2024 RAM 3500 cost?

Prices have softened 14.95% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 377 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 RAM 3500 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for this model year, and the 2024 RAM 3500 backs that up with serious capability, modern technology, and a more upscale feel than older work-focused heavy-duty trucks. It is especially appealing if you want a truck that can handle major towing and payload demands while still offering features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, large touchscreen infotainment systems, cameras galore, and a wide range of standard safety features.

Its size and diesel-focused character make it less suited to tight urban driving, but if your priorities are heavy-duty strength and daily-driver comfort, it fits that brief well. 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 RAM 3500 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 RAM 3500 is described as a heavy-duty truck with a strong frame, new suspension, and a more aerodynamic design, which supports its reputation for serious-duty use. It also combines capability with modern convenience features, which can make ownership feel more polished than in older work-oriented trucks.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about basic appeal and more about the realities of a very large, diesel-powered truck that can be costly and demanding to live with if your needs do not truly match its size and capability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 RAM 3500?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 377 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.95% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $70,106 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 RAM 3500's resale value?

The current average of $70,108 CAD sits slightly below last year's $82,431 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can be helpful if you are buying now but means future sellers may need to be more competitive on asking price. If the model continues to hold buyer interest, especially among shoppers who need heavy-duty capability, that should help support demand over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 RAM 3500 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.95% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 RAM 3500 is the better choice if you want a heavy-duty truck with strong capability, modern features, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also keep an eye on nearby model years, but the 2024 is the one to prioritise when you want the best mix of capability and current value.

How does the 2024 RAM 3500 compare to the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD?

The RAM 3500 is priced lower on average and has more listings available, while the Silverado 3500HD is slightly more expensive with a smaller pool of inventory. Deal share is very close, so your decision may come down to which truck better fits your towing needs, feature preferences, and the specific listing condition you find.
