Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale near Thornhill, ON

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 19.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,007 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.2/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

It stands out as a compact crossover with refreshed styling and a notable technology update, including Google built-in apps that first appeared in a Nissan. The cabin is also a strength, especially in higher trims, where the interior feels more upscale than many rivals.

The trade-offs are clear: the ride quality is poor, and overall performance is fairly pedestrian despite the strong engine. If you want a compact SUV that leans into tech and cabin polish more than driving excitement, this year’s Rogue fits that brief well.

31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue is described as a strong player in a crowded segment, and its updated powertrain is presented as a notable improvement. The engine is called impressive, and the model’s overall package is framed as a solid compact SUV with broad appeal.

Its fuel-consumption figures are competitive for a gas-only compact SUV, and the warranty coverage is about average for the class. That points to a used-buying proposition that should be manageable over time, though you should still budget for the usual wear items on a high-volume crossover.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum. The base S misses some of the richer cabin and tech upgrades found higher up, while Platinum models add the most upscale interior treatment.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and standard AWD in Canada. The engine is strong, but the transmission response and ride quality are weaker points.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version.
• Infotainment: S and SV models use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates S and SV at 8.4 L/100 km in city driving, 6.7 on the highway, and 7.6 combined. SL and Platinum are rated at 8.4/6.8/7.7 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Rogue’s core strengths, including standard AWD, the 1.5-litre VC-Turbo engine, and the basic safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• SV Moonroof: This trim adds more comfort and convenience without jumping all the way to the upper end of the range, making it a sensible middle-ground choice.
• SV Premium: This is the best-value trim if you want a stronger mix of equipment and price, especially because it builds on the SV’s broader feature set.
• SL: This is where the Rogue’s tech story gets much stronger, with the larger 12.3-inch screen, wireless smartphone integration, and the more advanced driver-assist setup.
• Platinum: This is the most upscale choice, with the richest cabin treatment, leather seats, quilted stitching, and the most premium-feeling interior in the lineup.

The safety package is strongest on SV and above, where ProPilot Assist becomes standard, and SL and Platinum get the more advanced version.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,007 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,431 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $27,431 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,224 CAD.

That softer pricing can work in your favour if you buy now, but it also means future resale upside may be more limited than it was a year ago. If you plan to sell later, the Rogue’s value will depend heavily on trim, condition, and how well it has been maintained.

The model’s strong feature set and broad appeal should help it remain easy to market. Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top Good ratings in the small-overlap front crash test on both the driver and passenger sides, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test. It also received an Acceptable rating in the updated side-impact test, and a Good headlight rating. It earns five-star ratings in side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover and frontal crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that can use navigation data to help slow for curves and interchanges.

The main caveat is that the updated side-impact result is only Acceptable, so the Rogue is good rather than class-leading in every crash scenario.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It debuts Google built-in apps, giving it a major tech advantage for this year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,562 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $27,431 CAD average.
• It adds a turbocharged engine and a fresh Midnight Edition package.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $30,198 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $27,431 CAD average.
• It adds Rock Creek off-road styling and newer highway driving assist tech.

The bottom line: If you want the newest tech and a strong used-market price, the 2024 is the best all-around path. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want the newer feature set and can stretch your budget.
