Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale near Newfoundland and Labrador

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 19.69% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,000 listings available, which suggests you should have a decent range of used Rogue options to compare.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.2/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

The Rogue’s strongest case is its updated technology and more premium-feeling cabin, especially in higher trims. It also brings a distinctive powertrain character for the segment, with the refreshed styling and Google built-in apps helping it feel more modern than many rivals.

The trade-offs are clear: the ride quality is poor, and overall performance is fairly pedestrian. If you want a compact crossover that leans more toward tech and cabin polish than driving enjoyment, the Rogue fits that brief well.

With 31.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s a meaningful share of attractive inventory to consider.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.2/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Rogue’s reliability case is helped by its mainstream mechanical layout and its focus on practical, everyday use. The engine is described as impressive, and the vehicle’s overall package is positioned as a solid compact SUV rather than a complicated niche model.

Nissan also backs it with a three-year, 60,000-kilometre basic warranty and a five-year, 100,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, which supports peace of mind for used buyers. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about outright durability and more about living with the CVT and the firmer ride if those traits bother you.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum are the Canadian trim levels. The base S misses some of the richer cabin and tech upgrades found higher up, while Platinum adds the most upscale interior treatment.
• Powertrain: The 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine is the key mechanical story. It is tuned to balance power and fuel economy, but the CVT can dull response.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version with navigation-linked slowing.
• Infotainment: S and SV models use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates S and SV trims at 8.4 L/100 km in city driving, 6.7 on the highway, and 7.6 combined. SL and Platinum are rated at 8.4/6.8/7.7 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Rogue’s core strengths, including standard all-wheel drive, the efficient turbo engine, and the full safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• SV Moonroof: This trim adds more everyday appeal without jumping too far in price, making it a sensible step up if you want a nicer cabin experience.
• SV Premium: This is the best-value choice if you want a stronger mix of equipment and price, especially because it builds toward the Rogue’s more modern tech and comfort features.
• SL: This is the trim to target if you want the larger 12.3-inch screen, wireless smartphone integration, the digital instrument cluster, and a more upscale feel.
• Platinum: This is the most premium Rogue, with the richest cabin presentation, leather seats, quilted stitching, and the most upscale overall execution.

ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get the more advanced navigation-linked version.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $27,304 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,999 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Rogue has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help keep demand healthy in the near term. For a future seller, the softer market means you may need to price competitively if you want to move the vehicle quickly.

The Rogue’s strong technology story and premium-feeling higher trims should help it stay relevant with shoppers who value features. If market conditions stabilise, that combination can support resale strength better than a more ordinary compact SUV.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.2/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.69% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.2/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps, which are major year-specific upgrades.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,348 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $27,304 CAD average.
• It adds a new turbo engine and a Midnight Edition package for a fresh look.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $29,958 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $27,304 CAD average.
• It adds Rock Creek off-road character and ProPilot Assist 2.1.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best pick if you want the newest tech update without stepping up to the higher 2025 price. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 remains the value play, especially if you can live without the latest infotainment upgrade.
