Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearOttawa, ON

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 19.13% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,979 listings available, which suggests you should have a healthy range of choices.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.3/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

Drivers commonly praise its comfortable cabin, good gas mileage, and safety features. The Rogue’s refreshed styling and Google built-in tech also stand out as recurring strengths, especially if you value a more modern-feeling compact SUV.

The trade-offs are clear: the ride quality is poor, and performance is fairly pedestrian despite the strong engine. In practical terms, the Rogue makes the most sense if you want a well-equipped, tech-forward crossover rather than the most polished driver’s SUV in the segment.

With 35.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value in the market.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers highlighting the Rogue as a comfortable SUV they can count on. The expert evaluation also supports that impression by describing the Rogue as a solid compact SUV with strong fuel economy and an appealing feature set.

Nissan’s warranty coverage is about average for the class, so long-term ownership risk looks manageable rather than exceptional for used buyers.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum. The base S is the most stripped-down version, while higher trims add more premium materials, a larger screen, and more upscale cabin details. Platinum stands out for its leather seats, Chestnut brown colour option, quilted stitching, and more black exterior trim.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque. It is paired with a CVT and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. The engine is strong, but the transmission response and overall driving polish are less impressive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV and higher trims, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version with navigation-based slowing for curves and interchanges.
• Infotainment: S and SV models use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates S and SV trims at 8.4 L/100 km in city driving, 6.7 L/100 km on the highway, and 7.6 L/100 km combined. SL and Platinum are rated at 8.4/6.8/7.7 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Rogue’s core strengths, including standard all-wheel drive, the 1.5-litre VC-Turbo engine, and the full safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and can live without the larger screen and premium cabin upgrades.
• SV Moonroof: This trim adds more everyday appeal without jumping all the way to the upper end of the range. It is a sensible step up if you want a better-equipped Rogue without paying for the most expensive tech and luxury features.
• SV Premium: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it builds on the SV formula with more comfort and convenience equipment while staying below the luxury-focused trims.
• SL: This is the sweet spot if you want the bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, the digital instrument cluster, and the more advanced ProPilot Assist setup.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want the most upscale Rogue experience. It adds the richest cabin presentation, leather upholstery, and the most premium exterior and interior details.

ProPilot Assist is standard on SV and higher trims, while SL and Platinum get the more advanced version.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,979 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.13% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,104 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $27,104 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,514 CAD.

That price drop suggests the Rogue has become more buyer-friendly in the used market, which can make it easier to sell if you bought at the right time. For future sellers, the current softness means you may need to price competitively to stand out, especially against a large pool of listings.

The Rogue’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time, particularly for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top “Good” ratings in the small-overlap front crash test on both the driver and passenger side, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test from IIHS. It also earned a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA, with five stars in side crash tests and four stars in rollover and frontal crash tests.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV and higher trims, and the SL and Platinum trims get a more advanced version that can use navigation data to help slow for curves and interchanges.

The main caveat is that the updated IIHS side-impact test result is only “Acceptable,” so safety-conscious shoppers may want to prioritise higher trims with the fuller driver-assistance package.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps for the first time in a Nissan.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,266 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $27,104 CAD average.
• It remains a stylish, safety-focused compact SUV with strong brand importance.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $29,526 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $27,104 CAD average.
• It adds Rock Creek adventure styling and more advanced highway driving assistance.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best pick if you want the refreshed tech story and a strong used-market price. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the value play, while the 2025 is worth considering if you want the newer feature set and can stretch your budget.
