Used 2024 Nissan Rogue for Sale nearCobourg, ON

How much does the 2024 Nissan Rogue cost?

Prices have softened 19.21% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,984 listings available, which suggests you should have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Nissan Rogue earns a 4.3/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Technology.

Drivers commonly praise its comfortable cabin, good gas mileage, and safety features. The tech overhaul and Google built-in apps also stand out, and the upscale Platinum interior adds to its premium feel.

The trade-offs are clear: the ride quality is poor, and acceleration is described as sluggish compared with hybrids. In practical terms, the Rogue makes the most sense if you value technology and cabin polish more than driving excitement.

With 33.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue reliable?

Owners rate it 4.3/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers highlighting comfort, good gas mileage, and safety features. The Rogue’s powertrain is also described as an engineering curiosity that can vary its compression ratio to balance power and fuel economy, which supports its reputation for long-term usefulness.

Nissan’s warranty coverage is about average for the segment, which is reassuring but not exceptional. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether you can live with the Rogue’s modest acceleration and less polished ride.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum. Base Rogue S models get 17-inch wheels and an 8-inch touchscreen, while higher trims add more premium exterior details, a larger screen, and a more upscale cabin. Platinum models stand out with leather seats, quilted stitching, and a more premium interior presentation.
• Powertrain: You get a 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder VC-Turbo engine with 201 horsepower and 225 pound-feet of torque, paired with a continuously variable transmission. It is strong for the class, but the transmission can feel slow to respond.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that can help with curves and interchanges.
• Infotainment: S and SV models use an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. SL and Platinum upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and Google built-in apps.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates S and SV trims at 8.4 L/100 km in city driving, 6.7 L/100 km on the highway, and 7.6 L/100 km combined. SL and Platinum are rated at 8.4/6.8/7.7 L/100 km.

Which 2024 Nissan Rogue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Nissan Rogue is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV Moonroof, SV Premium, SL, and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Rogue’s core strengths at the lowest price. You still get standard all-wheel drive, the 1.5-litre VC-Turbo engine, and the full safety suite, but the smaller 8-inch screen and wired smartphone connectivity make it feel more basic than the higher trims.
• SV Moonroof: This trim adds more comfort and convenience without jumping all the way to the upper end of the range. It is a sensible step up if you want a better-equipped Rogue without paying for the most premium tech.
• SV Premium: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it builds on the SV formula with more equipment while staying below the luxury-leaning upper trims. It also gets ProPilot Assist, which adds meaningful driver-assistance value.
• SL: This is the trim to target if you want the major tech upgrade, including the 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the digital instrument cluster, and Google built-in apps. It also gets the more advanced ProPilot Assist setup.
• Platinum: This is the most upscale Rogue, with leather seats, quilted stitching, the most premium cabin presentation, and the strongest feature set overall. It suits you best if interior quality and tech matter more than value.

The safety package is standard across the range, but ProPilot Assist becomes more capable as you move up the trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Rogue?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,984 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.21% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,119 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Rogue's resale value?

The current average of $27,119 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,566 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if market conditions stay similar. A lower current average can help support demand from value-focused shoppers, especially when the Rogue is priced near the bottom of its range. Strong equipment, good fuel economy, and broad appeal should help it remain relevant, but resale will still depend on trim, condition, and mileage.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.3/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Nissan Rogue safe?

The 2024 Rogue received top Good ratings in the small-overlap front crash test on both the driver and passenger sides, the original-format moderate-overlap front test, and the original side-impact test from IIHS. It also received an Acceptable rating in the updated side-impact test and a Good headlight rating. It earns five-star ratings in side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover and frontal crash tests from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and rear automatic emergency braking. ProPilot Assist is standard on SV and adds automated lane centring for highway driving, while SL and Platinum get a more advanced version that can use navigation data to help slow for curves and interchanges.

The updated side-impact Acceptable result is the main caveat to keep in mind, even though the overall safety picture is still strong.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Rogue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.21% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.3/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It brings refreshed styling and Google built-in apps for the first time in a Nissan.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $26,274 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $27,119 CAD average.
• It offers a stylish, safety-focused package with a strong reputation in Nissan’s lineup.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $29,573 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $27,119 CAD average.
• It adds the Rock Creek trim and more advanced highway driving assistance.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best fit if you want the refreshed tech story and a softer used price than last year. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the value play; if you want the newest features and can spend more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
