Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — 4.75/5 is a strong user rating for a three-row midsize SUV that prioritises family practicality. The 2024 Pathfinder stands out for standard room for eight, easier third-row access with EZ Flex seating, and a modern cabin with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also suits you well if you want a polished family haulier with available comfort and convenience features, plus standard all-wheel drive in Canada and seven terrain modes for added confidence away from pavement. With 34.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Pathfinder’s appeal comes from its practical layout, standard all-wheel drive in Canada, and a feature set that supports everyday family use. Its broad capability and well-rounded design make it a sensible choice if you want a used SUV that feels current without giving up space or versatility. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its below-average fuel economy can make running costs less appealing over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently while still watching for strong listings.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 427 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.06% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,981 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $41,982 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,203 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, it also means resale expectations should stay grounded unless demand strengthens. Because the Pathfinder combines family-friendly practicality with strong towing ability and a premium-leaning interior, it should still appeal to shoppers looking for a versatile three-row SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $38,338 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,982 CAD average.
• It adds a rugged Rock Creek edition.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $50,242 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,982 CAD average.
• It adds a more value-focused, well-rounded package.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around pick if you want a current-feeling Pathfinder with strong family utility and a softer used-market price than last year. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you want to pay more for the newer model year.
