Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder earns a 4.8/5 user rating, and its overview points to a three-row midsize SUV that prioritises family practicality, easy third-row access, and a well-equipped cabin. You also get standard all-wheel drive in Canada, plus available towing strength and convenience features that make it appealing if you want a versatile family haulier with a more rugged look. With 36.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful share of the market to shop from.

Is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview also suggests a vehicle built around everyday usability, with standard all-wheel drive, practical seating access, and a broad feature set that should suit family use well. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its below-average fuel economy may make running costs less appealing over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Nissan Pathfinder?

It looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 446 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.10% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $41,501 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $41,501 CAD sits slightly below last year's $46,162 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Pathfinder easier to buy now but may also limit short-term upside for a future seller. If you plan to resell later, the current softness means your eventual return will depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. Strong demand for well-equipped family SUVs should still help support values for clean examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.10% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $37,552 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $41,501 CAD average.
• It adds the Rock Creek edition for a tougher look.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $49,846 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $41,501 CAD average.
• It focuses on value and everyday practicality.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of current pricing, strong satisfaction, and broad availability, the 2024 is the primary pick. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the smarter price-sensitive alternative, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer take on the same formula.
