Used 2024 Lexus RX for Sale nearStoney Creek, ON

How much does the 2024 Lexus RX cost?

Prices have softened 12.34% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 215 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Lexus RX earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

It is a crossover SUV that leans into luxury, comfort, and fuel efficiency rather than excitement, so it suits you best if you want a relaxed, refined daily driver. The cabin is described as quiet, and the RX’s core strengths are comfort and efficiency.

The trade-offs are clear: it is not as exciting to drive as rivals, and its performance is fairly pedestrian. Some interior materials also feel cheap, and the styling may not appeal to everyone.

With 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is decent market opportunity if you are selective.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The RX is presented as a comfort- and refinement-focused luxury SUV, and that character usually aligns well with buyers who want a calm ownership experience. The expert assessment also points to a quiet cabin and strong efficiency, both of which support everyday usability.

Its performance is described as fairly pedestrian, but that is more of a driving-character trade-off than a durability concern. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about mechanical drama and more about choosing the right trim and condition for your priorities.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus RX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin gets softer and more inviting in the higher-priced packages, where faux suede inserts appear in the seats, doors, and roof pillars. Base versions miss some of that upscale ambience, so you should compare interior finish carefully if you want the most luxurious feel.
• Powertrain: The RX 350 uses a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder with 275 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque, while the RX 350h hybrid uses a 2.5-litre four-cylinder with 246 hp and 233 lb-ft. The RX 500h F Sport Performance adds 366 hp and 406 lb-ft, and the RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid adds an 18.1-kWh battery and up to 60 kilometres of electric-only range.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard, with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear passenger safe-exit system, and parking proximity sensors. A head-up display, digital rearview mirror, surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking system, and highway driving assist are available.
• Infotainment: Lower-priced configurations get a 9.8-inch touchscreen, while higher-end models use a 14-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the system also supports cloud-based navigation with a three-year free trial.
• Fuel efficiency: The RX 350 is estimated at 9.9 L/100 km combined, the RX 350h at 6.5 L/100 km combined, the RX 500h at 8.6 L/100 km combined, and the RX 450h+ at 2.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2024 Lexus RX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Lexus RX is offered in 4 trim levels: RX 350, RX 350h, RX 500h F Sport Performance, RX 450h+.

Here's the short version:

• RX 350: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core RX experience with standard AWD, the turbocharged 2.4-litre engine, and the full Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 suite. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model and value comfort over speed.
• RX 350h: This is the best-value choice for most buyers because it adds the hybrid powertrain and a major fuel-economy advantage without jumping to the priciest end of the range. If you want the RX’s comfort-first character with lower running costs, this is the trim to target.
• RX 500h F Sport Performance: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the most power in the lineup and a six-speed automatic transmission. It suits you if you want the strongest acceleration and are willing to pay for it, but the RX still remains comfort-first overall.
• RX 450h+: This plug-in hybrid is the most expensive trim and adds the largest battery, up to 60 kilometres of electric-only range, and the strongest efficiency story for short-trip driving. It makes sense if you can charge regularly and want the most electrified RX.

All RX models include Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 as standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus RX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 215 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,801 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $54,801 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,514 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. The RX’s comfort-first appeal and strong efficiency should still support demand, especially among shoppers who want a quiet luxury SUV rather than a sporty one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX safe?

The 2024 Lexus RX earns five-star ratings in overall and side collision protection, and four-star ratings in frontal and rollover tests from NHTSA. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety rated it Good in all crashworthiness evaluations except the new moderate frontal overlap test, where it received Poor, and it was named a Top Safety Pick.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard across the range, and it includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear passenger safe-exit system, and parking proximity sensors. Available upgrades include a head-up display, digital rearview mirror, surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking, and highway driving assist with adaptive cruise and lane centring.

The main caveat is the poor IIHS result in the moderate frontal overlap test, so that is the key safety shortcoming to keep in mind when you are shopping used.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 RX combines comfort, efficiency, and standard safety equipment in a well-rounded luxury package.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,492 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $54,801 CAD average.
• It offers a more balanced cabin-and-tech upgrade story.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current market value, standard safety equipment, and comfort-focused luxury, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the smarter price-sensitive alternative.
