Used 2024 Lexus RX for Sale near New Brunswick

How much does the 2024 Lexus RX cost?

Prices have softened 10.58% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 206 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and a 6.17/10 expert rating, the 2024 Lexus RX is a strong fit if you want comfort over excitement. The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, and Safety.

The RX’s core appeal is clear: it delivers an abundance of refinement, a quiet cabin, and impressive fuel economy figures. It is aimed at buyers who want a premium crossover that is easy to live with and efficient to run.

The trade-offs are just as clear. It is less exciting to drive than rivals, with fairly pedestrian performance and limited driver engagement, and some interior materials feel cheap.

With 33.0% of listings priced as good or great deals, there is a decent amount of market value to be found if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The RX is presented as a comfort-first luxury crossover with a reputation for refinement, and its expert evaluation reinforces that it is built around easy ownership rather than drama. The powertrain lineup includes efficient hybrid options, and the cabin-focused design suggests a vehicle meant to be lived with every day.

The RX 450h+ also benefits from a plug-in hybrid setup with a large battery and a useful electric-only driving range, which can help reduce fuel use for buyers who can charge regularly. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright durability and more about whether the softer performance and premium-tech complexity suit your needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus RX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base RX 350 starts the lineup with standard all-wheel drive, but higher-priced packages add a more inviting cabin with faux suede inserts and a larger infotainment screen. If you want the best value, look closely at the supporting hybrid and mid-range configurations rather than assuming the base trim gives you the full luxury experience.
• Powertrain: The RX 350 uses a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine, while the RX 350h hybrid uses a 2.5-litre four-cylinder setup and the RX 500h F Sport Performance adds more power. The RX 450h+ plug-in hybrid adds an 18.1-kWh battery and up to 60 kilometres of electric-only range.
• Safety package: Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard and includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear passenger safe-exit system, and parking proximity sensors. A head-up display, digital rearview mirror, surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking system, and highway driving assist are available.
• Infotainment: Lower-priced versions get a 9.8-inch touchscreen, while higher-end models use a 14-inch display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and the cloud-based navigation system comes with a three-year free trial.
• Fuel efficiency: The RX 350 is estimated at 9.9 L/100 km combined, the RX 350h at 6.5 L/100 km combined, the RX 500h at 8.6 L/100 km combined, and the RX 450h+ at 2.8 litres-equivalent per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2024 Lexus RX trim should I buy?

The 2024 Lexus RX is offered in 4 trim levels: RX 350, RX 350h, RX 500h F Sport Performance, RX 450h+.

Here's the short version:

• RX 350: This is the entry point, and it gives you the standard turbocharged 2.4-litre engine, eight-speed automatic transmission, and standard all-wheel drive. It suits you if you want the least expensive way into the RX lineup, but it is also the least compelling choice if fuel economy is a priority.
• RX 350h: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it combines strong efficiency with a relatively modest price increase over the RX 350. If you want the RX’s comfort-first character with lower running costs, this is the one to focus on.
• RX 500h F Sport Performance: This is the performance-oriented choice, with the most power in the standard lineup and a six-speed automatic transmission. It makes sense if you want the quickest and most responsive RX, but it is not the natural pick for value shoppers.
• RX 450h+: This plug-in hybrid is the priciest trim and is best for you if you can charge regularly and want the longest electric-only driving capability. It is the most specialised choice in the lineup rather than the broadest-value one.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard across the range, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core safety suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus RX?

The market looks moderately favourable for selective buyers.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 206 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.58% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $55,609 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus RX's resale value?

The current average of $55,677 CAD sits slightly below last year's $62,261 CAD.

That price movement suggests the RX has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help support demand in the near term. For a future seller, it also means you may need to be more competitive on asking price if the market stays soft.

The RX’s comfort-first reputation and strong efficiency should help it remain appealing to shoppers who value refinement over sportiness. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Lexus RX safe?

The 2024 Lexus RX earned five-star ratings in overall and side collision protection and four-star ratings in frontal and rollover tests from NHTSA. The IIHS awarded it a Top Safety Pick rating, with Good scores in all crashworthiness evaluations except the moderate frontal overlap test, where it received Poor.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a rear passenger safe-exit system, and parking proximity sensors. Available upgrades include a head-up display, digital rearview mirror, surround-view camera system, semi-automated parking system, and highway driving assist with adaptive cruise and lane centring.

The main caveat is the poor moderate frontal overlap result, which is worth keeping in mind if crash-test performance is a top priority for you.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.58% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines comfort-first refinement with efficient powertrain choices and standard all-wheel drive in Canada.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $50,202 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $55,677 CAD average.
• The redesigned 2023 RX balances comfort, modern appeal, and a polished cabin.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market value story and a broader sense of year-specific pricing softness, the 2024 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the smarter price-sensitive alternative, especially if you find one with the equipment you want.
