What is the 2024 Kia Soul's resale value?

The current average of $23,094 CAD sits slightly below last year's $26,780 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Soul has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside exposure later than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. The Soul’s distinctive styling and practical cabin should still help it stand out when you eventually list it.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 26.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.76% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,066 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $23,094 CAD average.
• It offers broad trim choice and a freshened look.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a strong satisfaction signal. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value-focused alternative.
