Used 2024 Hyundai Venue for Sale nearKelowna, BC

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Venue cost?

Prices have softened 9.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 417 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of choice in the used market.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating, the 2024 Hyundai Venue looks like a strong fit if you want an affordable small crossover SUV that feels well equipped for the money. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The Venue’s appeal is easy to see in its budget-friendly positioning, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and important safety features. It is also styled to feel more polished than a bare-bones commuter, which helps it stand out if you want something practical without giving up personality.

The trade-offs are just as clear: sluggish performance and limited cargo space can make it feel compromised if you regularly carry people or gear. It is best suited to you if you want an accessible, practical small crossover for city and suburban use rather than a vehicle built for strong acceleration or maximum utility.

With 31.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to find a well-priced example.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Venue’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward mechanical setup, its focus on everyday use, and its strong cost-effectiveness score. Hyundai also backs it with a 5-year/100,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and powertrain warranty, plus five-year/unlimited-kilometre roadside assistance, which adds peace of mind for used buyers.

Its 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine and CVT are tuned for simple, efficient commuting rather than complexity or high-strung performance. For used ownership, the main risk is less about sophistication and more about whether the vehicle’s modest power and compact packaging still suit your needs over the long term.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Venue?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Venue is sold in Essential, Preferred, and Ultimate trim levels. The Preferred is the minimum upgrade worth considering because it looks better on the outside and adds desirable convenience and important safety features.
• Powertrain: Every Venue uses a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with 121 horsepower and 113 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. It is best in city and suburban driving, and it prefers smooth pavement.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and a driver monitoring system. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert starts with the Preferred, while adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist are not available.
• Infotainment: You get an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth with music streaming, and a six-speaker sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Venue earns 7.5 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving, and it averaged 7.8 L/100 km on a mountainous testing loop.

Which 2024 Hyundai Venue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Venue is offered in 3 trim levels: Essential, Preferred, and Ultimate.

Here's the short version:

• Essential: This is the entry point, but the Preferred is the better value if you want the Venue to feel more complete. The base trim gives you the core Venue formula, but it misses out on the added convenience and important safety features that make the next trim easier to recommend.
• Preferred: This is the best-value trim. It adds desirable convenience and important safety features, and it is the minimum upgrade we would suggest if you want the Venue to feel properly equipped.
• Ultimate: This is the most fully equipped version, with the most upscale presentation in the lineup. It is the one to choose if you want the Venue’s most polished look and are willing to pay more for it.

Starting with the Preferred, Hyundai adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Venue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 417 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,755 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $20,793 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,046 CAD.

That decline suggests the Venue is currently in a softer pricing environment, which can be good news if you are buying now but less favourable if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the key takeaway is that the market has already adjusted downward, so resale expectations should be set with that in mind.

The Venue’s affordability and strong value proposition should still help it attract budget-conscious shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue safe?

The 2024 Venue gets Good ratings in three different IIHS crash tests, coupled with an Acceptable rating for the Ultimate trim level’s brighter LED headlights, and it earns a four-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2024 Venue comes with standard forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, and a driver monitoring system. Starting with the Venue Preferred, Hyundai adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

There are also some important omissions to keep in mind: adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist are not available on the 2024 Venue. The lane-keeping assist system also produced a few inaccurate alerts and responses during testing, and the forward-collision warning issued one incorrect warning.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 stands out for its affordable base price, standard wireless smartphone integration, and important safety features.

The bottom line:

If you want a budget-friendly small crossover with strong value, the 2024 is the right place to focus your search. If your priority is simply the lowest possible asking price, you can also compare nearby model years and choose the one that gives you the best combination of condition, equipment, and listing price.
