Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Hyundai Venue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Inventory: There are 254 listings available.

What is the 2022 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $17,743 CAD sits slightly below last year's $20,464 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays steady. If you plan to sell later, buying near the lower end of the range gives you more room to protect your value. Strong demand for well-rated used vehicles can still support pricing when it is time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better pick if you want a used Venue with strong owner satisfaction and a market that currently favours shoppers. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby years and focus on the lowest-priced listings first.
