Is the 2023 Hyundai Venue reliable?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Hyundai Venue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 270 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.14% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $19,698 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $19,865 CAD sits slightly below last year's $22,107 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a mixed signal for future resale: it may help you buy at a more attractive entry point today, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward. If prices stabilise, a well-kept Venue could hold value more predictably than one bought at a peak. Strong condition and documented maintenance will matter more when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 26.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.14% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $20,902 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $19,865 CAD average.
• It adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.

The bottom line: If you want the better value on the used market, the 2023 is the stronger starting point. If you can stretch for a newer model and want the added convenience features, the 2024 is worth a look; otherwise, the 2023 should be your primary target, especially if you are price-sensitive.
