Used 2024 Honda Ridgeline for Sale near Thornhill, ON

How much does the 2024 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 9.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 119 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and our experts score it 7.33/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, and user-friendly features, and they also like its attractive pricing compared with other trucks. In use, that lines up with the Ridgeline’s practical, easy-to-live-with character and its appeal as a daily driver.

The main trade-offs are its irritating transmission and limited off-roading capability. It is especially appealing if you want a midsize truck that feels approachable, comfortable, and practical rather than hard-edged.

Only 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners’ feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable, comfortable, and easy to count on for everyday use. The expert evaluation also describes it as easy to drive and live with, with a robust V6 that helps it feel well suited to long-term ownership.

Honda’s first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house, which helps reduce early ownership costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that some rivals are newer and more advanced, so you should pay close attention to condition and maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2024 Ridgeline comes in Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition. The Sport gets the new 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and the standard Honda Sensing suite, plus blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The TrailSport adds an off-road suspension, all-terrain tyres, underbody protection, and exclusive paint, while the Black Edition adds HD Radio, extra USB ports, and an eight-speaker premium sound system.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and i-VTM4 all-wheel drive. It is smooth and quick on the road, but the transmission can be irritating and the truck’s towing capacity is limited.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist with road departure mitigation, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard on the Sport, and the system can feel less smooth in heavier traffic.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 9-inch touchscreen with a volume knob, tuning buttons, a faster processor, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and HondaLink connected services. The Black Edition adds extra USB ports and an eight-speaker premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada rating is 11.6 L/100 km combined driving, or 11.5 L/100 km for non-TrailSport models.

Which 2024 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the best-value choice because it gets the full 2024 infotainment upgrade, wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless charging, and the standard safety suite, including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. If you want the Ridgeline’s core strengths without paying for extras, this is the trim to start with.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the new-for-2024 off-road suspension, all-terrain tyres, and underbody protection. It is the trim that most clearly reflects the year’s updates, but it is still best for buyers who want a more rugged look and occasional rough-road confidence rather than serious trail work.
• Black Edition: This is the most upscale version, with HD Radio, extra USB ports, and an eight-speaker premium sound system. It suits you if you want the most feature-rich Ridgeline and are willing to pay for it.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on the Sport.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Ridgeline?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 119 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,444 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $47,784 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,768 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. The year-over-year decline suggests the Ridgeline is not currently in a rising-price cycle, so resale gains may be limited in the near term.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline earns an Acceptable score in the IIHS small overlap frontal-impact test and a Marginal rating for its headlights. It also earns five-star ratings across the board except for rollover resistance, where it scores a four-star rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist with road departure mitigation, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are also standard on the Sport.

The main caveat is that the ADAS can feel a bit busy in traffic, and the IIHS results show the Ridgeline’s age in some areas.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds a new TrailSport trim and meaningful tech updates.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $44,173 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $47,784 CAD average.
• It is a practical daily driver with strong comfort and versatility.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $51,649 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $47,784 CAD average.
• It carries over the 2024 updates and remains easy to live with.

The bottom line: If you want the most updated version of this generation, the 2024 is the one to target. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value, while the 2025 makes sense only if you find a compelling listing and want the newest model-year badge.
