Used 2024 Honda Ridgeline for Sale near British Columbia

How much does the 2024 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 10.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 110 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 5/5, and our experts give it 7.33/10. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, and user-friendly features, and they also like its attractive pricing compared with other trucks. For buyers who want a truck that feels easy to live with every day, the Ridgeline’s practical, comfortable character is a major draw.

The trade-offs are clear: the transmission can be irritating, and towing capacity is limited compared with more traditional rivals. The 2024 Ridgeline is best suited to you if you value comfort and practicality over hard-core truck capability.

With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still a decent amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owners describe it as dependable, comfortable, and user-friendly, with a reputation for being easy to count on in everyday use. The expert evaluation also points to a robust V6 powertrain and a truck that is easy to drive and live with, which supports the impression of solid day-to-day dependability.

Honda’s ownership experience is also helped by the truck’s practical design and straightforward mechanical layout. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic durability and more about whether the truck’s compromises — especially towing and off-road ability — fit your needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2024 Ridgeline is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition. The Sport is the most affordable and gets the core updates, while the TrailSport adds the new off-road suspension and all-terrain tyres, and the Black Edition brings the most upscale equipment. If you want the best value, the Sport is the one to focus on first.
• Powertrain: Every trim uses a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower, a nine-speed automatic transmission, and Honda’s i-VTM4 all-wheel-drive system. It is smooth and quick on the road, but towing and off-road ability are not its strengths.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist with road departure mitigation, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is also standard on the 2024 Ridgeline Sport.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and HondaLink connected services. The Black Edition adds HD Radio, extra USB ports, and an eight-speaker premium sound system.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada rating is 11.6 L/100 km combined, or 11.5 L/100 km for non-TrailSport models.

Which 2024 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the best-value choice if you want the updated infotainment, wireless smartphone integration, wireless charging, and the standard safety tech without paying for extras you may not need.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the new off-road suspension, all-terrain tyres, and underbody protection, but keep in mind it is still not a serious rock-crawling truck.
• Black Edition: This is the most upscale version, with HD Radio, extra USB ports, and an eight-speaker premium sound system for buyers who want the most features.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on the Sport.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 110 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,441 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $47,630 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,383 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the truck more appealing to used buyers today. For a future seller, it also means you may need to price competitively if you want to move the vehicle quickly.

The Ridgeline’s practical appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, especially among shoppers who want comfort and everyday usability over maximum truck toughness.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2024 Honda Ridgeline earns an Acceptable score in the IIHS small overlap frontal-impact test, and the IIHS rates its headlights as Marginal. It also earns five-star ratings across the board from NHTSA except for rollover resistance, where it scores a four-star rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist with road departure mitigation, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is also standard on the 2024 Ridgeline Sport.

The main caveat is that the truck’s age is showing in its IIHS results, especially the Acceptable small-overlap score and Marginal headlight rating.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds a new TrailSport trim, updated tech, and improved interior usability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $43,945 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $47,630 CAD average.
• It offers the same practical, easygoing truck character with strong everyday usefulness.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $51,543 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $47,630 CAD average.
• It carries over the 2024 updates unchanged.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date Ridgeline with the best mix of features and market pricing, the 2024 is the smart default. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the same formula with no meaningful changes, the 2025 is not a compelling upgrade.
