How much does the 2024 Honda Odyssey cost?

Is the 2024 Honda Odyssey a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Honda Odyssey earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a family minivan that prioritises comfort, practicality, and useful features over novelty, and it brings a generous equipment list even before the top trims. In Canada, you get seating for seven, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a moonroof, a power tailgate, leather seating, CabinTalk, a rear-seat entertainment system, and Magic Slide second-row seats that improve access to the rear. With 25.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Odyssey is described as benefiting from a stronger body structure, more ultra-high-strength steel, aluminium, and magnesium, which helped reduce weight and improve rigidity. That should support a quieter cabin and fewer rattles and squeaks over time. Even so, the model line has had complaints in earlier years about electrical glitches, infotainment issues, and transmission issues, so a careful inspection and maintenance review matter for used buyers. Long-term ownership risk is best managed by choosing a well-maintained example with a clean service history.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right example.

• Deal availability: 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 188 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.34% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,611 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $47,759 CAD sits slightly below last year's $52,681 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the Odyssey easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller if prices keep easing. If you plan to resell later, the current trend means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and service records. Well-kept examples should still hold interest because the model’s family-friendly packaging remains a strong draw. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 25.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.34% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $51,022 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $47,759 CAD average.
• It adds a new digital driver display and updated infotainment.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the better value and are focused on family practicality, comfort, and a strong feature set. Consider the 2025 only if the newer tech updates matter enough to justify the higher price; otherwise, the 2024 is the smarter buy for price-sensitive shoppers.
