Used 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid for Sale nearToronto, ON

How much does the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 10.53% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 521 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid earns 4.43/5 from owners and 7/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, and Safety.

Drivers consistently praise its comfort, excellent ride quality, and practical everyday usefulness. They also like the tech features and the value it offers compared with the gas-only version.

The trade-offs are clear: pricing can feel high, and the fuel economy does not fully live up to hybrid expectations. It is best suited to you if you want a roomy, comfort-first compact crossover with a strong safety focus rather than the most exciting or efficient option in the class.

Only 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.43/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as comfortable, dependable, and a vehicle they can count on for everyday use. The owner feedback also points to a smooth ride and strong long-term appeal, which supports confidence in used ownership.

From an expert perspective, the hybrid system works transparently and the SUV feels easy to drive, with a compliant ride and predictable handling. Honda also backs the hybrid with a standard maintenance perk on the first scheduled visit.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about durability and more about whether the premium purchase price and real-world fuel savings make sense for your driving habits.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The EX-L Hybrid brings the electrified powertrain to a lower price point, while the Touring Hybrid adds a more upscale cabin with leather seats, orange contrast stitching, and a more premium presentation. The base hybrid equipment is already strong, but the Touring is the one with the richest feel.
• Powertrain: The hybrid uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with two electric motors and delivers 204 horsepower to all four wheels. It is smooth and easy to live with, but the fuel-economy payoff is not as strong as you might expect.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, a rear seat reminder, automatic high beams, and a driver monitoring system. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on the hybrid trims, and front and rear parking sensors are included as well.
• Infotainment: You get a 9-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging. The Touring trim adds navigation and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates 6.4 L/100 km in combined driving, but the test vehicle returned 8.7 L/100 km on a mountainous route.

Which 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid is offered in 2 trim levels: EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• EX-L Hybrid: This is the best-value choice if you want the hybrid powertrain at a lower entry price. It gives you the core hybrid experience and standard all-wheel drive, making it the smart pick for most shoppers who care more about practicality than luxury extras.
• Touring Hybrid: Choose this if you want the most upscale version of the hybrid. It adds navigation, the 12-speaker Bose audio system, leather seating, and low-speed automatic braking control, so it suits you best if you want the most complete equipment list.

Honda Sensing is standard across the hybrid lineup, while blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors are also included on the hybrid trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

It is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 521 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.53% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,677 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $39,677 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,347 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make future resale a little more competitive for sellers. If you buy now, you may benefit from the lower entry point, but you should also expect resale values to reflect the same cooling trend if the market stays soft.

Because the CR-V Hybrid still has strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal, it should remain attractive to used shoppers. That helps support demand, even if pricing pressure continues.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid safe?

The 2024 CR-V Hybrid earns a Top Safety Pick award from IIHS, but it does not achieve the higher Top Safety Pick+ result because of a poor rating in the updated moderate overlap front test.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-centring assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, a rear seat reminder, automatic high beams, and a driver monitoring system. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is standard on the hybrid trims, and front and rear parking sensors are included as well.

The main caveat is that the updated IIHS test exposed a weakness in the CR-V’s crash performance, even though the overall safety package remains extensive.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• This year adds the EX-L Hybrid trim in Canada, giving you a lower-priced entry to the hybrid powertrain.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $38,403 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $39,677 CAD average.
• It was the first CR-V Hybrid sold in Canada and came only as a Hybrid Touring.

The bottom line: If you want the broader trim choice and a lower-priced path into the hybrid lineup, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is simply paying less up front and you are comfortable with a single-trim setup, the 2023 remains worth a look.
