Is the 2024 Honda Accord a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Honda Accord earns a 5/5 user rating, which supports its appeal as a well-rounded midsize sedan. It stands out for its roomy interior, comfortable ride, polished cabin, and easy-to-use controls, while also offering standard hybrid power on most models and a gas-only EX trim for shoppers who prefer that setup. The Accord’s practical strengths and modern technology make it a strong fit if you want a refined daily driver with broad appeal.

Is the 2024 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Accord’s reputation for reliability is a major part of its appeal, and Honda’s standard safety and convenience equipment adds to its everyday dependability. You also get a straightforward cabin layout with physical controls for key functions, which can make ownership feel simpler over time.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying a premium for a car that is already priced above some rivals.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 96 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,557 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $30,592 CAD sits slightly below last year's $35,191 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale values to reflect the current softer pricing environment rather than the higher levels seen a year ago. Even so, the Accord’s broad appeal and strong reputation should help it remain easy to move when you decide to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 28.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $27,734 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $30,592 CAD average.
• It remains an excellent traditional family sedan with strong everyday practicality.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want the newer model-year package, modern cabin feel, and a market that has already softened meaningfully. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value play, especially if you find one in strong condition and well equipped.
