Is the 2019 Honda Accord a good car?

Generally — the 4.43/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the Accord’s stylish design, luxurious interior, excellent reliability, impressive fuel economy, and smooth ride quality. For you, that means a sedan that fits well if you want a roomy, polished daily driver with a comfortable cabin and a practical, easy-to-live-with layout. With 29.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2019 Honda Accord reliable?

Owners rate it 4.43/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights excellent reliability, and it also describes the car as dependable and trouble-free enough to inspire confidence over time. That matters if you want a used sedan you can count on for regular commuting and family duty. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that any higher-mileage example may show the usual wear items, so a careful inspection still matters.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Accord?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 223 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.53% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $20,921 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Accord's resale value?

The current average of $20,921 CAD sits slightly below last year's $23,383 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently today but may limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price, you reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The Accord’s broad appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.43/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Accord or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 29.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.53% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.43/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $18,991 CAD, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $20,921 CAD average.
• It feels sporty and rewarding to drive.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $22,166 CAD, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $20,921 CAD average.
• It adds more tech and a more polished overall feel.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-rounded Accord with strong owner approval and a softer market price. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2018 is the better value play, while the 2020 makes sense if you want to spend a bit more for a newer-feeling package.
