Why it stands out
The 2024 Honda Accord stands out by blending the Accord’s long-running reputation for refinement with a more modern, technology-rich cabin. It comes with Honda Sensing, a collection of advanced driver-assistance systems that includes adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, road-departure mitigation, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and lane-centring assist. It also adds a reverse camera with three different views, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic-sign recognition, and a driver-monitoring system. Inside, the Accord’s touchscreen infotainment system, standard Bluetooth connectivity, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and physical buttons for radio and dual-zone climate controls help it feel both up to date and easy to live with.
For buyers, the 2024 Honda Accord’s appeal is rooted in its mix of practicality, safety, and value retention. The gas-only Accord starts at roughly $40,000 in Canada for the EX trim, while the Accord Hybrid starts at around $45,000 for the Sport Hybrid and reaches $47,500 for the range-topping Touring Hybrid. The model’s reliability is described as exemplary, and its engines and hybrid powertrains are said to have a proven track record. That said, the Accord is also presented as expensive compared with rivals, which may matter to shoppers cross-shopping family sedans or small and midsize SUVs.

My 2024 Honda Accord is a solid car that is reliable, efficient, comfortable, affordable, and easy to maintain. It has desirable features like blind spot detection, a moon roof, numerous air bags, heated seats, great gas mileage and various safety features. Plus it is a good looking sedan. This is my third Accord and I am very pleased with it. Please note our son is still driving my 2002 Accord with no major issues. If you are looking for a car that will be reliable, affordable, comfortable and last a long time the Honda Accord is a great choice.
