Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearBarrie, ON

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 11.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 356 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns 4/5 from owners and 6.83/10 from expert testing. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

It stands out for its stylish design, spacious cabin, and easy-to-use technology, and it also goes beyond expectations for passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. That makes it a strong fit if you want a small SUV that feels practical without giving up a more polished overall package.

The main trade-offs are the underwhelming base engine and fairly pedestrian acceleration. If you care more about comfort, usability, and space than outright speed, the Trailblazer still makes a convincing case.

With 29.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer’s overall package points to a vehicle that covers the basics well, and its expert assessment backs up that impression with a balanced view of everyday usability. Its performance is described as adequate rather than exciting, but the drivetrain is presented as straightforward and predictable, which helps reduce day-to-day ownership stress.

The Trailblazer also avoids some ownership friction by not requiring premium fuel. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the base powertrain may feel strained if you regularly need stronger acceleration.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gets the essentials, but the cabin and exterior styling are more appealing as you move up, especially where the larger touchscreen and richer interior presentation are concerned.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, or a turbocharged 1.3-litre three-cylinder with 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. The stronger engine is the better pick if you want more relaxed passing and highway merging.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, while adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.
• Infotainment: You get an 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and satellite radio. A native navigation system is not offered, so you’ll rely on your phone for directions.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 7.8 L/100 km in the city, 7.7 on the highway, and 7.8 combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive is estimated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, but the Trailblazer’s strongest value starts to show once you move beyond the most basic setup.
• LT: This is the best-value trim because it unlocks the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine for only a small price increase, and that upgrade is strongly recommended.
• Activ: This trim adds the more powerful engine and all-wheel drive, and it suits you if you want the version with the extra capability highlighted in testing.
• RS: This is the top-priced version with all-wheel drive, and it fits you if you want the most expensive trim in the lineup.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, while the optional Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 356 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $26,094 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $26,134 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,494 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably today, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices stay under pressure. If you own one for several years, the current trend suggests resale values may remain sensitive to supply and shopper demand.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

The 2024 Trailblazer earns five-star ratings in overall, frontal, and side crash evaluations from NHTSA, and four stars for rollover protection. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave it its highest score of good in all crashworthiness tests.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 29.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It adds a larger 11-inch touchscreen and a more polished cabin presentation.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,243 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,134 CAD average.
• It offers stylish design and easy-to-use technology at a lower entry price.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped and more current version, the 2024 is the stronger all-around pick. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 remains the more budget-friendly route and still delivers much of the Trailblazer’s core appeal.
