Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 12.26% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 355 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating, which points to a well-rounded small SUV with broad appeal. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

Its strongest case is practical: it checks the boxes for performance, efficiency, price, and capability while also exceeding expectations for passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. The trade-offs are clear, though: the base engine is underwhelming, and overall acceleration is fairly pedestrian.

That makes it a better fit if you value comfort, usability, and space more than quick acceleration. The 30.4% share of good or great deals also suggests there are still some attractive listings to find.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer’s overall package leans on practicality, easy-to-use technology, and a cabin that feels more polished than many rivals in the segment. Its expert assessment also points to a vehicle that covers the basics well, which is a good sign for everyday dependability.

On the mechanical side, the base turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder is described as anemic, while the available 1.3-litre turbo is more adequate than impressive. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a version that feels underpowered for your driving needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin gets a more modern look with the 11-inch touchscreen and digital instrument panel, but the base setup still uses harder plastics and simpler materials. Higher trims add more appealing touches, including available fabric inserts in the door panels.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a turbocharged 1.2-litre three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and a turbocharged 1.3-litre three-cylinder with 155 hp. The 1.2-litre engine is paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive, while the 1.3-litre uses a nine-speed automatic and can be paired with all-wheel drive.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option on certain trims.
• Infotainment: The standard 11-inch touchscreen is larger than the previous 7- or 8-inch displays, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. There is no native navigation system, and the system can respond with a slight delay.
• Fuel efficiency: The base engine with front-wheel drive is estimated at 7.8 L/100 km in the city, 7.7 on the highway, and 7.8 combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive is estimated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 7.2 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, but the stronger 1.3-litre turbo upgrade on the LT is only a modest step up in price, so the LS makes the most sense if you are shopping strictly on budget.
• LT: This is the best-value choice because it unlocks the more powerful 1.3-litre turbo engine for only a small price increase, and that upgrade is strongly recommended.
• Activ: This trim adds the more powerful engine and all-wheel drive, and it is the version highlighted as having some off-road capabilities.
• RS: This is the top Trailblazer model and is priced alongside the Activ with available all-wheel drive, so it suits you if you want the most upscale-looking version.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning.

• Inventory: There are 355 listings available.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $26,063 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,705 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. The Trailblazer’s practical cabin, easy-to-use technology, and broad everyday appeal should help support demand, especially among shoppers prioritising space and usability.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.26% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds a larger 11-inch touchscreen and a more modern interior presentation.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $24,264 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $26,063 CAD average.
• It offers a likable, affordable small-SUV package with stylish design and strong value for money.

The bottom line: If you want the better-equipped and more polished Trailblazer, the 2024 is the stronger pick. If your priority is saving money and you can live with the older setup, the 2023 remains the value play.
