Used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearVictoria, BC

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 6.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 205 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

The Colorado’s appeal starts with a bold redesign and a clear shift toward recreation more than work, and it backs that up with easy-to-use technology, refined on-road handling, and impressive off-road handling. Those strengths make it a strong fit if you want a smaller truck that feels modern and lifestyle-focused.

The main trade-offs are that the cabin materials are drab and there is only one cab/bed style. The price is also high, so you are paying for capability and equipment rather than maximum practicality.

Only 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado is presented as a well-equipped, robustly engineered midsize truck with strong capability and modern technology. Its turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the truck is described as having solid low-end power and a well-rounded driving experience.

The Colorado’s standard equipment and thoughtful tech layout also support confidence in day-to-day ownership. On the cost side, the base RWD version is the most efficient, and the lineup includes a lower-cost entry point than the more heavily equipped trims.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher trim levels and off-road versions can be expensive to buy and to keep.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The WT is the base model, but it still includes a fully digital instrument panel, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, an 11.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio. It keeps cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats, so you should decide whether those basics are enough for you. The LT adds alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, a rear USB port, and a full front centre console, and it is the best-value starting point if you want more comfort and convenience.
• Powertrain: The Colorado comes exclusively with turbocharged four-cylinder power. The base version makes 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while the Turbo Max version makes 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Both use an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the stronger engine is the better fit if you want more passing power or plan to tow.
• Safety package: The Colorado comes standard with automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and the Teen Driver system. The LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, while adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 11.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It also includes an 11-inch fully digital instrument panel, two front USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and satellite radio. The LT adds wireless device charging and a rear USB port, and the LT Convenience Package adds two more USB ports and two wall-style power outlets.
• Fuel efficiency: The base RWD version returns 11.8 L/100 km in the city, 9.9 on the highway, and 10.9 combined. The 4WD version returns 12.7 L/100 km city, 10.8 highway, and 11.8 combined. The standard ZR2 returns 14.1 L/100 km city, 13.8 highway, and 14.0 combined, and the ZR2 Bison returns 14.8 city, 15.1 highway, and 14.9 combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the entry point, and it is far from bare-bones thanks to the digital instrument panel, 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and satellite radio. It is the right choice if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup and can live with the simpler cabin.
• LT: This is the best-value trim because it adds useful everyday upgrades like alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, and a full front centre console. If you want the smartest balance of price and comfort, start here.
• Trail Boss: This trim is aimed at buyers who want more off-road hardware, including a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and an automatically locking rear differential.
• Z71: This trim keeps many of the off-road-oriented chassis enhancements while adding unique cloth-and-synthetic-leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and red front recovery hooks.
• ZR2: This is the most trail-ready version, with more off-road-focused chassis upgrades plus remote start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-assisted tailgate, and a spray-on bed liner.

The LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

• Deal availability: 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 205 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.44% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,087 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $47,537 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,812 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations if the market stays competitive. The Colorado’s strong equipment, modern tech, and broad capability should help support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable trims.

Higher-spec versions may hold appeal with shoppers who want off-road hardware and richer features, but the high starting price can limit how much room there is for appreciation. If you buy carefully now, you are more likely to protect value later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It pairs a bold redesign with easy-to-use technology and strong off-road capability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $43,694 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $47,537 CAD average.
• It offers a thoroughly updated crew-cab package with strong capability and modern tech.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $52,932 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $47,537 CAD average.
• It adds a strong focus on off-pavement versatility and garage-friendly sizing.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of modern design, tech, and current-market pricing, the 2024 is the primary pick. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the better value path, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for the newer-year alternative.
