Used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado for Sale nearNewmarket, ON

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Prices have softened 7.12% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 211 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

It stands out as a midsize pickup that has been reshaped around recreation and lifestyle use rather than basic work-truck duty. You get easy-to-use technology, refined on-road handling, and impressive off-road handling, which makes it appealing if you want a smaller truck that feels current and capable.

The trade-offs are clear: the cabin materials are described as drab, and there is only one cab/bed style, which limits flexibility. It is also positioned at a high price, so you are paying for the upgraded experience.

Only 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still looks selective rather than broadly discounted.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Colorado is presented as a modern, well-equipped truck with a strong focus on capability and technology, which supports confidence for used buyers. Its turbocharged four-cylinder setup is described as delivering solid low-end power, and the eight-speed automatic does a good job of managing power at any speed.

The truck’s overall package suggests solid day-to-day dependability, but you should still expect ownership costs to reflect its premium positioning and capability-focused hardware. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying more than you need to for features you may not fully use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The WT is the base model, but it still includes a fully digital instrument panel, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, an 11.3-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and satellite radio. It still keeps cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats, so the LT is the better value if you want a more polished cabin and more convenience features.
• Powertrain: The Colorado comes exclusively with turbocharged four-cylinder power, both displacing 2.4 litres. The base version makes 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while the Turbo Max version makes 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
• Safety package: The Colorado comes standard with automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and the Teen Driver system. The LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, while adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is an 11.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. It also includes an 11-inch fully digital instrument panel, two front USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, and satellite radio.
• Fuel efficiency: The WT with rear-wheel drive returns 11.8 L/100 km in the city, 9.9 on the highway, and 10.9 combined. The four-wheel drive version returns 12.7 L/100 km city, 10.8 highway, and 11.8 combined. The standard ZR2 returns 14.1 city, 13.8 highway, and 14.0 combined, while the ZR2 Bison returns 14.8 city, 15.1 highway, and 14.9 combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Colorado trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Colorado is offered in 5 trim levels: WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2.

Here's the short version:

• WT: This is the entry point, but it is not stripped down. You still get the 11.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 11-inch digital instrument panel, and satellite radio. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the lineup, but the cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats keep it basic.
• LT: This is the best-value trim. It adds alloy wheels, a remote locking tailgate, rear air vents, a rear USB port, and a full front centre console, and it can be upgraded with convenience packages that bring features like fog lights, remote start, wireless device charging, heated front seats, and synthetic leather upholstery.
• Trail Boss: This is the first clear off-road step up, with a lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, and an automatically locking rear differential. It suits you if you want more trail capability without jumping all the way to the top end.
• Z71: This trim keeps many off-road-oriented chassis enhancements while adding unique cloth-and-synthetic-leather upholstery, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and red front recovery hooks. It is a good fit if you want a more upscale off-road-leaning truck.
• ZR2: This is the most trail-ready version, with even more off-road chassis upgrades, remote start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-assisted tailgate, and a spray-on bed liner. Choose it if off-road performance matters most.

The LT Convenience Package III is the key safety-package upgrade to watch for, since it adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Colorado?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market rather than a deep bargain hunt.

• Deal availability: 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 211 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.12% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,085 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $47,872 CAD sits slightly below last year's $51,544 CAD.

That softer pricing trend can work in your favour if you are buying now, but it also means future resale values may stay under pressure if the market remains well supplied. For a seller, the current average suggests you may need to price competitively to move the truck quickly.

The Colorado’s strong user satisfaction rating helps support demand, especially for shoppers who want a modern midsize truck with capability and technology. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

It comes with a comprehensive collection of standard driver assistance features, including automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and the Teen Driver system. The LT Convenience Package III adds reverse automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert, while adaptive cruise control is available on certain trim levels.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It combines easy-to-use technology with refined on-road handling and impressive off-road handling.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $43,399 CAD, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $47,872 CAD average.
• It is a thoroughly modern crew-cab short-bed truck with strong capability and a clear off-road focus.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $52,711 CAD, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $47,872 CAD average.
• It broadens appeal for buyers wanting a right-sized truck with strong standard power and off-road-oriented packages.

The bottom line: If you want the most polished balance of technology, capability, and current-market pricing, the 2024 is the primary path to consider. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for the newer-year alternative.
