Used 2023 Genesis G70 for Sale nearLongueuil, QC

How much does the 2023 Genesis G70 cost?

Prices have softened 6.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 68 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Genesis G70 earns a 4.57/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its beautiful design, performance, luxurious interior, and value compared with other luxury brands. The G70 also gets credit for being fun to drive and easy to use, which lines up well with its small luxury sedan mission.

The main trade-offs are its poor fuel economy with the V6 and limited cargo space. That means you should like this car most if you want a stylish, driver-focused luxury sedan rather than maximum practicality.

With 29.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable-feeling ownership experience, with owners highlighting the car’s value and luxurious interior alongside its performance. The expert review also describes the G70 as a good value with a great chassis, intuitive tech, and a decent array of standard safety features.

Genesis also includes five years of scheduled maintenance with at-home vehicle pick-up and delivery, which helps reduce early ownership hassle. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is depreciation rather than obvious durability concerns.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G70?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The four-cylinder models start with leatherette seating, while higher trims add leather or Nappa leather, plus available upgrades such as Brembo brakes and ventilated front seats. The base car is well equipped, but you should check whether the features you want are reserved for higher trims.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder and a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6, both paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive in Canada. The V6 is much quicker, but it also uses more fuel.
• Safety package: Standard driver aids include forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Upper trims add front and rear park distance control, rain-sensing wipers, and a blind-spot view camera system.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Wireless smartphone mirroring is not available, and the car does not get a fully digital instrument cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder is rated at 11.4 L/100 km city, 8.2 highway, and 10.0 combined. The V6 is rated at 13.5 L/100 km city, 9.1 highway, and 11.5 combined.

Which 2023 Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis G70 is offered in 5 trim levels: Select, Advanced, Prestige, Advanced, Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Select: This is the entry point and the best-value starting place if you want the G70’s core style, standard all-wheel drive, and strong safety equipment without paying for extras you may not need.
• Advanced: This is the trim to target if you want a better-balanced mix of equipment and value, especially if you want more comfort and convenience without jumping straight to the top end.
• Prestige: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel and are willing to pay for additional luxury touches and available equipment.
• Advanced: On the V6 side, this is the starting point if you want the stronger engine and are willing to move up the ladder for more performance-focused content.
• Sport: This is the one to buy if you want the most powerful, best-equipped version and are comfortable paying for the top-end experience.

The standard safety package is already generous, but upper trims add features such as front and rear park distance control, rain-sensing wipers, and a blind-spot view camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis G70?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 68 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,195 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $37,064 CAD sits slightly below last year's $39,759 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a little more buyer-friendly, which can work against a seller trying to maximise return. If you plan to sell later, you should expect depreciation to remain part of the ownership equation.

At the same time, the G70’s strong value story and desirable styling can help keep it appealing to used shoppers. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 safe?

The 2023 G70 earns the IIHS’s highest Top Safety Pick+ award.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Upper trims add front and rear park distance control, rain-sensing wipers, and a blind-spot view camera system.

Highway Driving Assist is useful on the highway, but it still requires you to keep your hands on the wheel, and the lane centring can feel less smooth than some rivals. The lack of a fully digital instrument cluster also limits how clearly some driver-aid information is displayed.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over the 2022 redesign unchanged, so you get the updated look without paying for a fresh redesign.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $31,612 CAD, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $37,064 CAD average.
• It brings the refreshed styling, improved infotainment, and Highway Driving Assist.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $41,102 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $37,064 CAD average.
• It adds a new, more powerful base engine and fresh appeal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the sensible pick if you want the updated G70 without paying extra for the next model year. If price matters most, the 2022 is the value play; if you want the newest powertrain and can spend more, the 2024 is the upgrade path.
