The 2022 Toyota RAV4 is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XLE Premium, Limited, Trail, and TRD Off-Road.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core RAV4 formula at the lowest price. It suits you if you want the basics and standard safety without stretching the budget.
• XLE: This is the best-value choice for many buyers because it adds more equipment while staying well below the upper trims. It’s the trim to target if you want a balanced mix of features and price.
• XLE Premium: This trim moves you up to a more upscale feel and is a good fit if you want extra comfort without jumping all the way to the top end.
• Trail: This trim is the one tied to the larger touchscreen and premium JBL audio in the expert review, making it the better pick if tech matters more to you.
• Limited: This is the most polished gas-only choice, with the 9-inch touchscreen standard and the most complete feature set among the mainstream trims.
• TRD Off-Road: This is the most rugged-looking gas trim in the lineup, and it suits you if you want the off-road-themed version of the RAV4.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 802 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.46% compared with last year.

What is the 2022 Toyota RAV4's resale value?

The current average of $31,595 CAD sits slightly below last year's $33,779 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a little more favourable for buyers, which can make resale values feel less inflated for future sellers. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than when prices were higher a year ago. Strong demand should still help support values, especially for clean examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• It combines strong safety, broad trim choice, and mature everyday usefulness.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $29,660 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $31,595 CAD average.
• It adds the Prime and more trim flexibility.

Consider the 2023 if:
