How much does the 2022 Tesla Model 3 cost?

There are 470 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Tesla Model 3 a good car?

Yes — 4.84/5 is a strong user rating, and it lines up with the themes owners repeat most often: impressive performance, modern design, and eco-friendliness. You also get the everyday appeal of going electric and skipping gas stations, which fits well if you want a straightforward electric sedan with a contemporary feel. For shoppers who value a smooth ride and a minimalist cabin, this model year has clear appeal. With 24.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still enough market activity to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Tesla Model 3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.84/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that many drivers find dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, especially when it comes to the convenience and consistency of electric driving. That said, some shoppers still weigh practical concerns like range and entry height when thinking about long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is less about outright satisfaction and more about making sure the car’s condition and usage history match your expectations.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Tesla Model 3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 470 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $30,028 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Tesla Model 3's resale value?

The current average of $32,145 CAD sits slightly below last year's $34,560 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price, you reduce the chance of taking a bigger hit later. The model’s strong owner satisfaction should help support demand, but resale value will still depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.84/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Tesla Model 3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.84/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a used electric sedan with strong owner approval, a modern feel, and a market that has already cooled a bit, the 2022 is the primary year to target. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you can also compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, price, and listing quality.
