Yes — the 2023 Tesla Model 3 earns a 4.86/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its quick throttle response, unique handling, and minimalist yet luxurious design. It also fits well if you want lower running costs than a conventional gas vehicle while still getting a modern, engaging electric sedan. Is the 2023 Tesla Model 3 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.86/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on the car’s long-term appeal and the confidence it inspires over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the specific car has been cared for properly, since any EV can become more expensive to own if neglected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Tesla Model 3?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 333 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $31,671 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Tesla Model 3's resale value?

The current average of $32,669 CAD sits slightly below last year's $36,024 CAD.

That softer pricing can be a plus if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about where the market has settled. The current range suggests the model is still holding meaningful value, though not at the higher levels seen a year ago. If prices stabilise, owners who buy near the lower end of the range may be better positioned when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.86/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Tesla Model 3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 22.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.86/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the better pick if you want a well-liked Model 3 with strong owner approval and a market that has become more favourable for buyers. If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may want to compare nearby years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of price and condition.
