Used 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearTrois-Rivières, QC

How much does the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 11.84% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 185 listings available, which suggests a reasonable amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — 4.6/5. The expert rating is 7.7/10, and the model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

You get a smooth drive, advanced features, and a stylish appearance, and the Outlander’s fresh redesign gives it a more modern feel than the brand’s recent efforts. It also makes sense if you want a polished compact SUV with a roomy cabin and available advanced features, though the third row and cargo area are tighter than you may want if you regularly carry people or gear. With 30.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s still a decent amount of value-oriented inventory to consider.

Is the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers consistently praise the Outlander for being smooth, advanced, and stylish, and the feedback points to a vehicle that many owners feel good about living with over time. Mitsubishi also backs it with a 10-year/160,000-kilometre powertrain warranty, a five-year/100,000-kilometre standard warranty, and five years of free roadside assistance. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about durability and more about whether the driving dynamics and space limitations will suit your needs day after day.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lower grades get 18-inch alloy wheels, while the higher trims move to 20-inch wheels and add more upscale touches such as premium semi-aniline leather, a head-up display, and a premium sound system. If you want the most polished cabin, the upper trims are the ones to focus on.
• Powertrain: You’re looking at a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with a CVT and Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control AWD system. The Outlander is most responsive around town, but it can feel underpowered when merging, passing, or climbing hills.
• Safety package: The Outlander includes forward collision mitigation, safe reversing, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. The driver-assist system is refined when active, but you need to use the touchscreen menu to turn some assistance features off.
• Infotainment: The 9-inch touchscreen is standard on LE and up, and it includes Bluetooth and wireless Apple CarPlay. Android Auto requires a wire, and wireless smartphone charging is standard above the base model.
• Fuel efficiency: The Outlander returned 9.4 L/100 km on the test route, and the official combined rating for AWD models is 8.9 L/100 km.

Which 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander trim should I buy?

The 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander is offered in 7 trim levels: ES, SE, LE, LE Premium, SEL, GT, and GT Premium.

Here's the short version:

• ES: This is the entry point, but the stronger value starts higher up because the lower grades miss some of the more appealing tech and comfort upgrades that make the Outlander feel modern.
• SE: This is the trim to watch if you want a better balance of equipment and price, since it moves you closer to the features that make the Outlander feel more competitive without jumping too far up the range.
• LE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds the 9-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth and wireless Apple CarPlay, making it a smart step up if infotainment matters to you.
• LE Premium: Choose this if you want a more upscale feel than LE and are willing to pay for extra comfort and convenience features.
• SEL: This trim is for you if you want a more premium experience and are looking for a stronger mix of appearance and equipment.
• GT: This is the right pick if you want the more advanced digital display and a richer feature set without going all the way to the top trim.
• GT Premium: This is the most luxurious version, with premium semi-aniline leather, a head-up display, and a premium sound system, so it suits you best if you want the most fully loaded Outlander.

The safety package includes the driver-assist system and the core active-safety features across the lineup, but the touchscreen-based controls for turning assistance features off are worth noting before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush.

• Deal availability: 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 185 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $25,804 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $25,804 CAD sits slightly below last year's $29,270 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Outlander has become more accessible for used buyers, which can make it easier for a future seller to attract attention if the vehicle is priced competitively. The softer market also means you may need to be more deliberate about timing and condition if you want to maximise resale later. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander safe?

The 2022 Outlander earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with four-star ratings on frontal crash and rollover performance.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Outlander includes a hands-on Level 2 driver-assist system that works with commendable refinement, smoothness, and accuracy when it’s active. It also comes with forward collision mitigation, safe reversing, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. One caveat to keep in mind is that headlights on units built before July 2021 receive a Poor rating.

Should I buy a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.84% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 redesign marks a major step forward for the Outlander, with a more competitive package, stronger tech, and a more polished overall feel.

The bottom line: If you want the redesigned Outlander and you value its newer look, better tech, and stronger market pricing, the 2022 is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep shopping the market closely and focus on listings near the low end of the range, where the best value is most likely to show up.
