Used 2022 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearVancouver, BC

How much does the 2022 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 9.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 99 listings available, which gives you a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Honda Ridgeline earns a 4.65/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Owners consistently praise its comfort, spacious interior, and solid value, and many also like the smooth ride, useful in-bed trunk, and dual-function tailgate. In use, that makes it a strong fit if you want pickup utility without giving up everyday comfort or a quiet cabin.

The main trade-offs are the irritating transmission and dated technology. That said, the Ridgeline’s unibody design and relaxed driving character make it especially appealing if you value refinement over traditional truck roughness.

With 34.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s a decent amount of market flexibility if you shop carefully.

Is the 2022 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 4.65/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with repeated praise for comfort and the kind of everyday usability that helps a vehicle feel easy to count on over time. The Ridgeline’s strong satisfaction score also suggests that many buyers are happy living with it for the long haul.

Honda’s standard warranty coverage is fairly typical for the segment, and the truck’s overall reputation for solid build quality supports confidence for used buyers. For long-term ownership, the bigger risk is less about durability and more about whether the truck’s dated tech and transmission behaviour will suit your expectations.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Sport trim is the one most likely to leave you wanting more, since higher trims add features such as leather upholstery, heated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, a power-sliding rear window, and a moonroof.
• Powertrain: You get a 3.5-litre V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The V6 has enough power for everyday use, but the transmission can be slow to respond.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard, with automatic emergency braking, Road Departure Mitigation, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. In Canada, automatic high beams and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.
• Infotainment: The Ridgeline uses an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. Navigation is limited to the Touring and Black Edition, and the base Sport does not get SiriusXM satellite radio.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 11.5 L/100 km combined, with 12.8 L/100 km in the city and 9.9 L/100 km on the highway.

Which 2022 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2022 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 4 trim levels: Ridgeline Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Ridgeline Sport: This is the entry point, but it’s also the trim most likely to feel sparse if you want a more upscale truck. It gets the core Ridgeline formula, but not the extra comfort and convenience features found higher up the range.
• EX-L: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds a more premium feel without jumping all the way to the top of the range. If you want the Ridgeline’s comfort-first character and a better-equipped cabin, this is the trim to target.
• Touring: Choose this if you want more convenience and tech, including navigation. It suits you best if you plan to spend lots of time behind the wheel and want a more fully equipped truck.
• Black Edition: This is the most distinctive and fully loaded version, with the richest appearance and the most upscale presentation. It makes sense if you want the most premium Ridgeline experience and are willing to pay for it.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, and Canadian models also get automatic high beams plus blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Honda Ridgeline?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on well-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 99 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $39,623 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $40,508 CAD sits slightly below last year's $44,899 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the Ridgeline has become more approachable for used buyers, which can help keep demand steady if you decide to sell later. A lower entry price can also make it easier for your listing to stand out against newer, more expensive alternatives.

At the same time, the model’s appeal depends heavily on buyers who value comfort, practicality, and a more refined truck experience. If those strengths continue to resonate, the Ridgeline should remain relatively easy to market in the used-truck space.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.65/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The Ridgeline received top “Good” scores in most Insurance Institute for Highway Safety crash tests, but received a lower “Average” score in the passenger-side small overlap frontal test. It earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover crash testing.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking, Road Departure Mitigation, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and adaptive cruise control. In Canada, automatic high beams and blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert are also standard.

The main caveat is the weaker passenger-side small overlap result, plus the lack of a 360-degree camera system, which would be useful in a truck this size.

Should I buy a 2022 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.78% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.65/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over essentially unchanged after the 2021 facelift.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $37,547 CAD, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $40,508 CAD average.
• It adds a more truck-like appearance while keeping the Ridgeline’s everyday usability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $43,945 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,508 CAD average.
• It leans even more strongly into practicality and everyday comfort.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the sensible choice if you want the Ridgeline’s comfort-first formula with current-year pricing that has eased from last year. If you’re focused on value, the 2021 is the cheaper path; if you want to spend more for a newer model-year alternative, the 2023 is the next step up.
