Is the 2019 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2019 Honda Ridgeline earns a 4.78/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise its smooth ride, high-quality interior, and practical features like the built-in bed storage and comfortable seating. It also fits well if you want truck utility without giving up a more car-like, comfortable feel, and the standard all-wheel drive in Canada adds to its everyday appeal. Is the 2019 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback highlights a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience for many drivers, with praise centred on comfort, practicality, and features that hold up well over time. That said, used buyers should still check service history carefully, since long-term ownership risk is always lower when maintenance records are complete and the truck has been well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Honda Ridgeline?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 97 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.48% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $28,414 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $28,972 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,656 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck is equipped. Models that are clean, well maintained, and priced competitively should still attract interest, especially because the Ridgeline has a loyal following among buyers who want comfort and practicality.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 24.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.48% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

If your priority is stretching your budget as far as possible, you may also want to compare nearby model years and focus on whichever one gives you the best combination of condition, price, and maintenance history.
