Is the 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty a good car?

Yes — owners rate it 4.9/5, which points to very strong satisfaction with this truck.

The owner feedback consistently highlights robust performance, impressive towing capacity, and advanced technology features. It also gets credit for a spacious interior and powerful engine, which fits well if you want a heavy-duty truck that still feels more modern and comfortable for daily use. That makes it a strong fit if you need serious work capability but also want something you can live with for commuting and long days behind the wheel.

Is the 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary points to a truck that feels robust and dependable, with many drivers praising its trouble-free performance, strong capability, and confidence-inspiring technology. That kind of feedback suggests you can count on it for demanding use over the long term.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is less about the truck’s core strength and more about making sure a hard-working example has been maintained properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 118 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,241 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $54,241 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,859 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the good news is that heavy-duty trucks with strong capability and broad appeal often keep a loyal audience. If demand stays steady, a well-kept example should remain easier to move than a less desirable work truck.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $62,670 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $54,241 CAD average.
• It brings a modest refresh with updated styling and improved tech.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better value if you want strong capability, high owner satisfaction, and a lower entry price. If you want the newer version and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the cleaner upgrade path; if price matters most, the 2022 is the smarter buy.
