What is the 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty's resale value?

The current average of $52,520 CAD sits slightly below last year's $61,579 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations if the market stays similar. The current range suggests there is still healthy demand, yet the year-over-year decline shows buyers have become more price-sensitive. If you keep the truck in strong condition and maintain it well, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 27.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $64,218 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $52,520 CAD average.
• It adds a more refined update with broader appeal and fresher tech.

The bottom line: Choose the 2022 if you want the stronger value proposition and are comfortable shopping the market for a good deal. If you want the newer update and can stretch your budget, the 2023 is the better secondary path.
