Used 2022 Ford Bronco for Sale nearRichmond, BC

How much does the 2022 Ford Bronco cost?

Prices have softened 10.36% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 338 listings available, which suggests you have a workable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Ford Bronco earns a 4.5/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Owners consistently praise its off-road capability, performance, stylish design, comfort, tech features, and spaciousness. The Bronco also stands out for being practical enough for everyday use, especially if you want something that can handle trail duty without feeling out of place on pavement.

The trade-offs are familiar: some owners feel it is overpriced, and too many essential features are optional. That fits the Bronco’s role as a rugged SUV for shoppers who value capability and character over bargain pricing.

The model’s broad range of versions makes it a flexible fit if you want a vehicle that can suit different skill levels and budgets. With 30.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in the ways that matter to shoppers who plan to keep it for a while, especially if you value performance, capability, and a strong sense of durability. The expert review also reinforces that it is built to handle demanding use while still working well as an everyday vehicle.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that some desirable equipment is optional, so you will want to verify the exact feature set on any listing you consider.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Bronco’s deep lineup gives you a wide spread of capability and equipment, and the base version is the one most likely to leave out some of the convenience and safety features that appear on higher trims. You should compare the equipment carefully if you want the best balance of value and features.
• Powertrain: You can choose between a four-cylinder or six-cylinder engine, and both are turbocharged. The four-cylinder is the more efficiency-minded choice, while the V6 adds more power for buyers who want stronger performance.
• Safety package: The Bronco includes hill-start assist, hill descent control, and trailer sway control as standard. Frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams are available on all but the base trim as part of the optional Mid package.
• Infotainment: The Sync 4 system has quick responses and sharp graphics, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. You also get Bluetooth, with wireless charging available.
• Fuel efficiency: The two-door with the base four-cylinder engine is estimated at 12.1 L/100 km in the city, 11.2 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.7 L/100 km combined with the automatic transmission. The V6 ranges between 12.4 and 15.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2022 Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2022 Ford Bronco is offered in 6 trim levels: Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, Wildtrak, and the base two-door Bronco.

Here's the short version:

• Bronco: This is the entry point, and it makes the most sense if you want the Bronco experience at the lowest starting price. It gives you the core off-road character, but you should expect fewer convenience and safety features than you will find on higher trims.
• Big Bend: This is the trim to focus on if you want the best value. It starts adding more everyday usability while staying closer to the lower end of the price range, making it a smart middle ground for many shoppers.
• Black Diamond: Choose this if you want a more trail-focused setup than the Big Bend. It is aimed at buyers who expect to use the Bronco more seriously off pavement.
• Outer Banks: This trim suits you if you care more about comfort and style than maximum trail hardware. It leans into the Bronco’s more polished side.
• Badlands: This is the better pick if you want stronger off-road capability and are willing to pay for it. It is for shoppers who plan to use the Bronco hard.
• Wildtrak: This is the most aggressive mainstream trim in the lineup and is best for buyers who want a highly capable, well-equipped Bronco without stepping into the specialty models.

The safety package note to keep in mind is that advanced driver-assistance features are not standard on the base trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Ford Bronco?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to compare listings carefully and move quickly on the right one.

• Deal availability: 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 338 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.36% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $40,421 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $40,421 CAD sits slightly below last year's $45,093 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if the market stays well supplied. The Bronco’s strong desirability and broad appeal should help support demand, especially for well-equipped examples in popular trims.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Ford Bronco safe?

The 2022 Ford Bronco earns Good ratings from IIHS in frontal, side, and roof strength tests, and a four-star rating for frontal crash protection from NHTSA, along with three-star rollover protection ratings.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety features include hill-start assist, hill descent control, and trailer sway control. Frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alerts, lane-keep assist, rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams are available on all but the base trim as part of the optional Mid package. Front parking sensors and a surround-view camera system are offered with the High package, while the Lux package adds adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you will want to check the trim and package content carefully if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2022 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2022 stands out for its broad model range and strong off-road ability without giving up everyday drivability.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $49,673 CAD, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $40,421 CAD average.
• It adds a wider nine-model lineup with two- or four-door choices.

The bottom line: If you want the better value, the 2022 is the smarter starting point because prices have eased and inventory is available. If you are willing to pay more for a newer model year and a broader configuration range, the 2023 is worth a look.
