Is the 2021 Ford Bronco a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Ford Bronco earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It fits especially well if you want a rugged SUV with genuine off-road character and modern convenience. Is the 2021 Ford Bronco reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a dependable ownership experience, with many drivers describing it as a fun, high-performing SUV they would count on. The strongest praise centres on its versatility and overall appeal, while some concerns focus more on noise and roof fit than on core durability. For used buyers, that suggests the bigger long-term risk is choosing the wrong configuration or condition rather than facing a broad reliability problem.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Ford Bronco?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 213 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.46% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,479 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Ford Bronco's resale value?

The current average of $38,298 CAD sits slightly below last year's $42,298 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more affordably now, but it also means future sellers may not see the same peak values if the market stays cooler. The year-round high of $42,296 CAD shows there is still upside when demand strengthens, especially for well-kept examples. Stronger-condition Broncos with desirable equipment should hold up better than average listings as buyers continue to value the model’s image and capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2021 Ford Bronco or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 30.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.46% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $39,895 CAD, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $38,298 CAD average.
• It adds a broader model range with more choices for different budgets and needs.

The bottom line: Choose the 2021 if you want the lower average price and a market with some deal opportunities. Consider the 2022 if you are willing to pay more for a wider range of versions and a newer model year. If price matters most, the 2021 is the smarter starting point; if you want more choice and can stretch your budget, the 2022 is worth a look.
