Is the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD, and it fits a truck that is built around serious capability rather than everyday softness. The overview points to major towing and payload strength, a broad mix of powertrain and utility choices, and trailering-focused technology that should appeal if you need a heavy-duty pickup for demanding work. The overview suggests a truck engineered for hard use, with serious towing and payload capability, robust engine choices, and utility features that support demanding ownership. This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile listings.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD's resale value?

The current average of $65,109 CAD sits slightly below last year's $66,071 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the key is to buy well and avoid overpaying, because the current trend leaves less cushion for depreciation. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.45% compared with last year.
