Why it stands out
The 2021 Ford Bronco stands out as a reboot of an icon after a 25-year hiatus, and it leans hard into the original’s look with round headlights and a retro stance. It is based on the Ford Ranger and has the proportions of a mid-size SUV, but it keeps the Bronco’s off-road identity intact with two- and four-door configurations, convertible options, and removable doors. That mix of old-school style and modern packaging is a big part of its appeal, especially for buyers who want something more distinctive than a typical SUV.
Inside, the 2021 Ford Bronco brings the technology expected of a modern off-roader. It includes a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, a 4G LTE wireless modem, and keyless entry. Available equipment adds a premium B&O sound system, navigation, a wireless charger, auto high-beam headlights, and heated seats. The model also offers a trio of engine options, including a 2.3-litre inline-four and a 2.7-litre twin-turbo V6 at launch, plus a 10-speed automatic transmission on versions other than the base four-cylinder powertrain.
What makes the 2021 Bronco especially compelling is how seriously it treats off-road use. It has body-on-frame construction, twin A-arm front suspension, rear five-link coilover suspension and solid axle, Dana axles with front and rear electronic differentials, and drivetrain settings that include 4WD Low, 4WD High, 4WD Automatic, and 2WD High. Optional systems such as G.O.A.T. Modes, Trail One-Pedal Drive, Trail Turn Assist, and the Sasquatch package further reinforce its trail focus. The trade-offs are also clear: the Bronco is noisy, has big blind spots, and poor fuel economy is one of its drawbacks, so its strengths are most obvious to buyers who value capability and character over quiet comfort.

Love it! Came with the lux package and the heated steering wheel is coming in handy this time of the year. The only thing thats disappointing is the charging pad sucks and I wish it had the auxillary switches for future mods.

Definitely worth the wait, it’s far exceeded my expectations and my expectations were high. The Ford Motor Company knocked it out of the park with the Bronco!
