Is now a good time to buy a used 2020 Nissan Pathfinder?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly when a strong listing appears.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 118 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.61% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $21,199 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2020 Nissan Pathfinder's resale value?

The current average of $21,215 CAD sits slightly below last year's $25,440 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can make the Pathfinder more attractive to used buyers today but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you buy at the current average, your resale position will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. The good news is that strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.79/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2020 Nissan Pathfinder or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2020 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2020 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.61% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.79/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, owner satisfaction, and family-friendly practicality, the 2020 Pathfinder is the stronger pick. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2020 stands out when you want a well-liked three-row SUV with a softer market price.
